Didn’t a rovers player clatter wrecklessly into and injure one of our key players one year too?

Dominic Blizzard finished Grant Basey's career there.
I saw Basey at a Cray Wanderers game years later, a very nice fella actually, I asked him if the fella apologised and he said no.  A s*** stain of a person methinks.
Basey not the nicest guy either.

Nice to have you back in the Championship.

The Bristol area in August grinds to a halt, suggest coming by train, don't use the Bristol Parkway bound trains.
Split tickets via Didcot Parkway reduces the cost and group save is available(buy two tickets and the third goes free)
Have your tickets issued to Parson Street and its then a just a short walk to the ground.
I would imagine you will get a full match day ticket allocation of 3,500 so please buy your match day tickets as soon as they go on Sale.
Will come back nearer the kick off date to supply further local info.

Bristol City fan hello what this about  Turki Alalshikh buying your club?

    1994, oh the memories.

City fan saying after the match "Charlton, you're small time"

Now I could maybe take that from Liverpool or Man Utd but as I replied "but you're Bristol City, Mate"
Win the last FA Cup tie in front of the Spion Kop and think they're big time.

The amount of times I have been to Bristol and not had a look around, the flats were/are behind the main stand.

Bristol City have put the first five home games on sale, which includes the Atyeo stand which means you will be sharing your away end with Bristol City followers.
Could be dependent on how many tickets you purchase when they go on sale,so buy your match day tickets as soon as they go on sale.A reminder that no match day tickets will be sold to away fans on the day.

Are there buses to take fans back into the city centre/Temple Meads after the game?

And £30 to buy the bcfc membership, so cant see a benefit there from an away fan perspective.

If your heading back to Bristol temple meads, still the best bet is WALK up to Parson Street for a train at 17:37pm ish, that will take you straight into Bristol temple meads.
You won't be hemmed in amongst all the fans on the bus which also goes the long way round to BTM.No ticket gates/barriers  at Parson Street unlike BTM.

Still say the best thing about that team is the way it puts a smile on my face when it makes me think about the rhyming slang.

Actually it's probably thinking about the slang subject that puts the smile on my face.

Thank you for your info but no offence I doubt I’ll be going to Bristol City again after the horrible experience we had our FA Cup game 1994 when your fans were attacking us and throwing bricks. A pretty frightening experience for me as a 8 year old at the time.
What a great day out that was.
Admittedly I was 31 years younger that day.
But myself and my mates walked straight through the middle of the trouble and didn’t get touched.
What I saw was mostly kids. We told them to fuck off, and they duly bottled it.
Then for good measure, we beat them the following week in the replay at the Valley.

I can remember seeing John Ateyo play at the Valley many years ago. He was a big unit and had the ability to "hang" in the air when jumping for a header. Seemed to deny gravity.
