Chelsea, I hate to say, had some great players in the early seventies. Hudson one of the best of them.

There was a simple way to respond to any player that thought they should automatically be in the England team, just ask them two questions 1) how many England caps do you have ?; and 2) can you show me the World cup and UEFA trophies England has won over the time you’ve been getting those caps ?
Curbs was never going to get it , the absolute egofest of that England team just wouldn't have worked with how he liked to run things. Too many players that thought they were big time.
