Just Park question

Logic says you should buy I know how funny these things can be.

If you book a 3 day station car park ticket with Just Park, can you exit and reenter that car park multiple times within those 3 days start and end time, or will when you exit for the first time. The cameras treat that as you leaving the booking?

Comments

  • As far as I know, you cannot re-enter unless it specifically says so on the listing.

Trusting a car park app / booking not to consider you in breach of their conditions would be brave.

Unfortunately common sense doesn’t always apply. I’d be wary if you know it’s camera controlled.

You can with Parking Bee, but not sure with the others

Morrisons, Oxted  - I've parked there multiple times without any issues, but then I received a notice from Euro Car Parks saying I had overstayed the 2-hour limit. I sent them a copy of my receipt for the day in question, but they replied saying the receipt didn’t cover the time of the alleged overstay. I sent it again, but it was still rejected.

When I looked more closely, I realised it was the day I was having problems with their payment website. I had an appointment at Guy’s Hospital, so I went straight there and paid for one day's parking when I got back to my car at 18:15. The ticket, however, was issued at 17:34 — just 41 minutes earlier. It was clearly issued by a mobile inspector, as it's normally done via camera at the gate, so it doesn't matter what time you pay, as long as it covers the 24 hour period you're in the car park. The receipt actually say that it covers you up to 23:59 that night, so fuck knows why it dont covers you before the time you've parked / payed.

When Sainsburys Chislehurst went over to having to validate a ticket to park after shopping loads got caught out including me. When I looked at the company who was responsible I found the registered office was on an industrial estate in Chelmsford.
It happened to be opposite where at the time I was posted with Essex Traffic Police.
So being cheeky I walked to the office in my uniform and with a TPC Colleague who wandered around outside.
Got  straight into reception and asked to speak to the MD, who came down all of a fluster, got shown into a private office and then produced my shopping receipt and Penalty Notice, he was gobsmacked to say the least.
The penalty got cancelled. But had I been a private citizen and not "looked" official I would never had been allowed in.

Cheers all, bit of probing and realised I would have been done booking a 3 day one and leaving each day, so booked 3 individual days 👍
