You’re welcome to send back the VIP+ toiletries gift set in protest. To be honest, I think the black pepper and sandalwood body lotion has given me a rash

Russian cyber interference?  Seems unlikely now the politics thread has been closed.

Yes mate. Ping me over your card number, expiry and 3 in the back, and I'll look into it

I tend not to bother to sign in every time unless I have something to say (which I don't all that often)

But with not signing in, if I go to a thread, it opens on the most recent page, not page 1, and there's nothing I can do to get to page 1 - clicking on the number 1, nothing happens, and clicking on the left double arrow thing takes me back to the most recent page.

Minor irritation, as it seems to work OK when I sign in, but seems to have started fairly recently.  Using Firefox on Windows 10 desktop here.

Hi Catford, clear your browser cache if you know how, or try visiting in incognito mode because it sounds like a caching issue.

Getting cloudfare timeout messages. Seems ok when using desktop view on the mobile, but desktop on the laptop, and mobile on the mobile are no good!

Think our host is having a few issues this morning so access might be a bit choppy

Yeah I can’t get the homepage to load on mobile so can only go direct to threads. On desktop I can only do the opposite!

I may be wrong but it appears that a site issue which has gone on for several years appears to have been fixed. Every thread which I have opened in the last couple of days has opened on the last message that I read...rather than, as often happened until now, at the top of the last page or the end of the thread.

This news is as good as reaching the play-offs. :)

Something is definitely up with the site - mods need to look in to it.

I can see threads for a promotion winning manager signing for another 5 years, and beating other championship clubs to a signing.

    Has the site been hacked?

Well, that's weird. Looks like Vanilla's added some new functionality that's broken the stylesheet. @LoOkOuT this is another one for you I think.

So @aliwibble do we assume that the draft page layout has changed for good or not, one thing it seems to offer is the opportunity to confirm deletion, which I feel is an improvement, as I found to my cost once after doing a Match Thread and deleting in error...🤦‍♂️

It's staying until we get ownership of the Valley and training ground.
It serves as a reminder that the Belgium fuckweed still casts a shadow over us.

That’s probably because that link is hardcoded as forum.charltonlife.com and (I’m guessing) you’re regularly using charltonlife.vaniilaforums.com to access the site. If you’re logged into a session through the vanillaforums domain, you’re not logged into the charltonlife.com domain, so you have to log in again. If you just log in and stay accessing through the charltonlife.com domain you won’t have that issue.

Anyone else having a problem with the way the site holds your location on a thread? It used to be I could read to the end of a page, and then leave the tread and it would know which page I hadn’t read, and take me there when I opened that thread again.

Now if I exit a thread it assumes I’ve read the whole thing. Today I opened up the Jorge Costa thread and read the first page, and then needed to go out. I noticed when I did that it assumed I’d read all 7 pages. I’m sure it didn’t do this before.

Clear your browser cache and try again.
