RWB has to be one of our biggest priorities, much prefer Ramsey at RCB.9
-
Not to derail the thread but think it’s great, there’s club staff, an ex player, current mens and women’s players and academy players from the men and women too. Nice and cohesive and showing we’re all one clubPWADDICK said:33 -

Scoham said:Imray would be a strange one unless they’re really confident he’s good enough to be first choice. If he came here as back up we already have Asiimwe who has also played well in L2.
The fact that Imray's parent club won the FA cup last season and Danny is still under contract at 21 makes we wonder if he is of a higher quality than Asiimwe ?
The answer to these questions are made by NJ and PC and that's why they are paid the big bucks. Sometimes players like Ramsey slip through the net and Cafc took a punt on Kayne from the hotbed of 4nd tier Harrogate.

It’s the new away kitken_shabby said:Woke up at 1am.anf looked on Facebook in a vain effort to go back to sleep. There was a post from the club with that looked like a photo of a chip shop and a countdown clock. No idea ifbits some cryptic clue about a new signing,, news we've outsourced the chips to a new company at the Valley, or just my own deleting, but I'll take it we've got another new recruit announced today.
It's a nice kit but I was hoping for an amazing new signing, so I'm not impressed

is it Chuks ?2 -
I thought it was Olaofe.0

You'd like to think so but Preston are so much closer to The National Railway Museum I think it's better we give up and move on.Chris_from_Sidcup said:Offiah was born in London and used to be in Bromley's academy.
I'd like to think that if we are in for him (Cawley did confirm a few weeks back that we were) then as long as we're not miles away from what Preston are offering him in wages, then he'd prefer to sign for us over them.9 -
Quite interesting that that thread seems to be saying there was a hold-up from the agent last week, possibly shopping the deal around to us to see if we'll match/improve on it. The fact the rumour's picking up again implies nothing was forthcoming but we'll seeScoham said:https://www.northstandchat.com/threads/odell-offiah.371957/page-3Here’s the Offiah thread on the Brighton forum.1 -

FLW ?..... They get all their info from the Plymouth Evening Herald.CAFC_boi said:
Credit due to FLW again … on the money with Galbraith to Swansea and also broke Kanu to Wimbledon before Rich Cawley - want to hear the respect from Henry as loud as the disrespectCAFC_boi said:
It WAS a rubbish click bait site but this summer they have been getting a lot of exclusives right.Henry Irving said:

It is speculation. Jay speculated it is the players attitude towards us why he may not sign, I have then speculated if he does go to Swansea, it will be probably be a financial issue or decision as we have shown confirmed interest.Callumcafc said:
Article has zero mention of Swansea upping their offer. It's just a fluff piece put out by a party with a motive to drive a bidding war.Braziliance said:
Worth every penny, he's class and Jones must want him. I think he would fit like a glove here, just have a feeling. He just offers something we lack similar to Tanto, that's invaluable.fenaddick said:
Unless I missed it that FLW doesn’t mention price other than our bid and the Hudds one at £2.5m which I’d say is the upper limit of what he’s worth I thinkBraziliance said:Very disappointing if he signs there. Going for a very fair/cheap price and improves us. Can't say we weren't interested either as we bid
To be fair, we don't know that. The fact he signed for Orient in the first place and has consistently played shows he probably doesn't have an attitude.000__Jaaaaay__000 said:Braziliance said:Very disappointing if he signs there. I think it’s more the fact Galbraith thinks he can do better than us
I would say it's more so Swansea have a bit more breathing room than us and have upped their offer.
If that is the case, I'd like to see us match them at least. It would be very difficult to find a player with his qualities that can also play about 4 different roles and only being 24. Players like this are proper upgrades and affordable. Would be nice to see.
I listen to FLW a bit more considering they have had a few scoops this window.
It is a rubbish click bait site.Got to give them credit where it’s due rather than being ignorant. Will you give them credit if Galbraith ends up at Swansea?
Same as Ronnie 🙂

Offiah signing for Preston according to Cawley0

So potentially two right sided defenders we’ve missed out on, who’s next on the list?0

Would be great if Preston could let us have one pacey wingback. Rapidly rising in the unexpectedly disliked league table.4
-
That will make him popular with the Blackpool fans. Would probs mean he doesn't need to move house. Onto the next.0
-
Offiah is shit anyway.17
-
Will Preston just fuck off!8
-
Guess that will mean Preston are likely to play Small at LB/LWB2
