  • Are those shirts the same as the upholstery on the trains?

Not sure if already posted but heard from a mate who supports Brighton their new kit is dividing opinions.

I think the colours are ok, but i'm strongly against the centralised badge nonsense that some kit makers have gone with to try and be different.
It's ok but the green shorts and yellow socks aren't good.

    I joke.

This was getting quite a lot of positive attention, but I really don't like it. Better than that purple monstrosity further up though. Still think don't think we'll see a better kit than Port Vale's this year.

Very retro from the late 70's early 80's.

    They'll sell bundles of these.

Not sure if they still do but they used to have a decent retro range in their club shop as well.

  • rChampionship - Ice Lolly FC have arrived for 2526

Yuk. Unusual suppler too, Kelme a Spanish company whose only other English clubs are Wealdstone and Maidenhead, so clearly their sales rep only works in a very small part of the country  :D
  • Yikes Watford. It's a bit Melchester.
  • West Ham continuing to offer a sponsor-less version of their shirts for adults (primarily due to the betting sponsor I believe), but something others should do.
  • That Watford shirt is absolutely horrendous.

Sponsor logo is even worse than the one Preston have

Is that because the shirts are subsidised by public funds
  • New Norwich is very nice. Didn’t realise Joma were still over here.
  • Really like Norwich's new kit.

Very simple, has a collar and the crest & manufacturer are embroided on.

If it wasn't Norwich and not horrible colours it would be stunning

Can't put my finger on it, but it looks like a fake shirt

Gambling sponsorship, including of the EFL itself, should be banned. It’ll happen one day.

For shirt sponsors, I believe this is the last season.

Good. Hopefully the EFL will follow.
  • It would be good if alcohol sponsors were allowed again, but only if they're allowed to promote their alcohol free products.

Yes it is, they're banned from next season. Although pretty stupid when teams are playing in leagues sponsored by Sky bet, which i think runs to 2029.

Holland have done a complete ban effective from 1 July, banning not just shirt sponsorships, but also promotional deals with competitions, teams and individual athletes.

What will be interesting is to see what happens to the money for clubs. I'm sure these betting companies are providing huge amounts to clubs, and if the money isn't there then how will they pay for players and their salaries? These random trading companies that you've never heard of appear to be the new kids on the block....how long will they last?

Honestly don't get what the issue is with RSK on the shirts, owned by a Charlton supporter, simple, not a gambling firm, ticks all the boxes
it is just too big - reduce the font by 25% and would be much better
