Interesting that that the observer put up a misleading photo of the ‘property’ in France and then hid the ‘apology’ for that at the end of the article. Lessens my trust in their reporting.
Overall, looks like Winn is digging a deeper hole with her follow up ‘essay’ which could lead to more trouble (especially on debts owed).
Not saying it's correct but that's just the industry standard way of apologising. If it was up to me the apology would have to be presented exactly the same as the error, that might make some headline writers think twice too
