Like JRC it’s going to be interesting to see what NJ says about Apter. A lot of possibilities.
A very attacking RWB like Small, effectively playing as a RW.
As a 10, either competing with Carey and Berry, or two 10s as we saw vs Dartford if we move from 3-5-2 to 3-4-2-1.
Up front with freedom to drift wide, like TC, which can be in last seasons 3-5-2 but also an option in a 4-4-2 diamond.
A lot less likely, a formation change to either 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. I don’t see that being anything more than an occasional option as we’ve brought in 2 CBs, and Bell is very much a LCB in a back 3, rather than a CB in a back four.
Feel sorry for that Orient fan they’re going to be gutted that we signed a player. Can’t wait until he pops up on to the next teams forum saying how vile we are

I think he will be the Small replacement in the system we played last season. He did play a bit as a wing back for Blackpool at the start of the season, and then on the right of a 4-4-2 when Bruce came in. So he’s used to having a bit more defensive responsibility than a usual 4-3-3 winger

A slight hitch with the Rob Apted transfer to cafc as Linda thinks the Charlton fan base are creepy !
