I bet the deals already done too much smoke.
    Who’s that 🤔
    Read Kirk
  • Surely a done deal as i'm confident Cawley wouldn't publish that unless he's certain it's done.
Substack piece mentions it’s progressed promisingly, which would indicate it’s a done deal.

Anyone checked in on the Blackpool forum can’t imagine they’re too pleased.
They’ve moved to the “I actually don’t care” “he wasn’t that great anyway” stage. Quite amusing!
Yeah was only a couple days ago when they were saying he’s way to good for us and we can’t afford him.
  • Imagine the Blackpool reaction if we also signed Jerry Yates from Swansea.

  • Am surprised they think Yates wouldn't get another champ club. Even if they had the Apter money to spend I would expect a Champ club to sign Yates.
  • Like JRC it’s going to be interesting to see what NJ says about Apter. A lot of possibilities.

A very attacking RWB like Small, effectively playing as a RW.

As a 10, either competing with Carey and Berry, or two 10s as we saw vs Dartford if we move from 3-5-2 to 3-4-2-1.

Up front with freedom to drift wide, like TC, which can be in last seasons 3-5-2 but also an option in a 4-4-2 diamond.

A lot less likely, a formation change to either 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. I don’t see that being anything more than an occasional option as we’ve brought in 2 CBs, and Bell is very much a LCB in a back 3, rather than a CB in a back four.
  • Feel sorry for  that Orient fan they’re going to be gutted that we signed a player. Can’t wait until he pops up on to the next teams forum saying how vile we are

  • I see Kone hasn't left Wycombe yet this summer. Would he be a striker option?

I think he will be the Small replacement in the system we played last season. He did play a bit as a wing back for Blackpool at the start of the season, and then on the right of a 4-4-2 when Bruce came in. So he’s used to having a bit more defensive responsibility than a usual 4-3-3 winger
  • What a breath of fresh air this window has been!
Tell that to Steven81. He thinks there's too much smoke.

They are reacting like "we" did with Small leaving. Us fans are all the same.
    Exactly
  • Luton did announce 3 signings in Slovenia last week ;)

  • Is there any obligatory youtube videos of the Rapter floating around?

  • So will Apter replace Small in that right winger/wing back role?

    Get him on the plane

Sod that, make him get a coach, he kept us waiting so long he missed the plane...

Apter seems more of an out and out winger to me. I wonder if we'll shift to 343... TC on one side apter on the other?
Was it broadly a 3-4-3 on Saturday ? I think if he does do this , 2 of the three will be strikers

Think it seems likely, when we want to have more attacking threat.

How sure are we he wasn’t on the plane?
