Interesting that that the observer put up a misleading photo of the ‘property’ in France and then hid the ‘apology’ for that at the end of the article. Lessens my trust in their reporting.EveshamAddick said:

Yes the detail re the property rather undermined their hard nosed position, it's a bit like trying to hide something on Private Eyes "page 94".0

Not saying it's correct but that's just the industry standard way of apologising. If it was up to me the apology would have to be presented exactly the same as the error, that might make some headline writers think twice too1
