Karoy is an interesting case. He clearly will have a role to play if only a late sub who adds energy and pressing. As far as ball possession, his biggest problem is when he is under pressure. He is not giving the ball away when he has time to make a decision. Will he have less time to make a decision or more in the championship, I honestly don’t know.
On the Karoy Anderson issue, it's about opinions, I rate him, lots of people feel the same but lots of people don't. If we look back at last summers pre season nobody would have thought Gillesphey would have been a rock at the back and our free kick specialist, and nobody would have thought Tyreece Campbell would be a success playing up front, me included. It's down to how the manager and coaching staff, play and develop individual players, this is certainly true about Karoy but he's not alone, Dixon, Fullah, Asiimwe and even Apter and Carey could all be considered 'potential', sign of a good manager if those players do develop and push on.
Anyone reckon Karoy Anderson will make the step up to the Championship?
Good engine, but his passing, shooting and crossing is woeful by League One standards. I can't see him playing beyond a bit part this season. He gets a free pass from most Charlton cronies as he's a youth product.
I am always more lenient on a youth player who has shown the loyalty to the club to come through the system and sign their contract when so many nowadays use us for a free footballing education before fleeing for a better contract elsewhere at the age of 15/16 meaning we get little in return.
Karoy could have done that but stayed and has broken through, very clearly gives 100% each and every time he is on the pitch and genuinely seems to love the club.
I think he will have a very decent season this year, he is improving a lot each season (as would be expected at his youthful age).
Yates seems like a no brainer, double digits last year in a side fighting relegation, would be reasonably cheap compared to other options, two seasons out of him whilst we consolidate it would be money well spent

Come clean. The fact that he played for Harrogate Railway Athletic has influenced your thinking hasn’t it!
Docherty seems to be written off by many so it will be interesting to see his game time this season. A busy fit player and i hope he can step up with the added quality around him in 25/26 but Nathan can't be over loyal as Curbs said to him.
Call me paranoid, but is it only me who is getting concerned regarding our leading scorer from last season, not in Slovenia, so not seen in the first two pre-season matches, where is he, as I said hopefully just me putting 2+2 together and getting 5. Hopefully see him Wednesday or rumours could start to rear their ugly head, and not good ones...

Blackburn had an offer of £750k turned down and have moved onto other targets. Local papers up there mention £1m wanted. He was not great as a right wing back apparently, but was very good when moved to the right side of a back 3. Out injured (again) at the moment.
Unless Ramsey is off I am not sure we would want to spend that much, or at least would wait until we see what is left in the budget towards the end of the window.

Ramsey not leaving we got cover now in that position doubt we are looking for another right sided defender / wingback .. as RC confirmed a striker and attacking mid player are most likey our last recruits this window

He is in Slovenia, he has a minor calf strain and is following a separate training regime, as is Berry.
Ok thanks, just me then..
Just repeating what Rich Cawley has already said, plus they are both in the training videos.
Why does Rich Cawley appear in the training video, is that where he gets his scoops from?

Well even so IF he's out and about in London he could be a potential signing. Doubt it's true though, probably winding Blackpool fans up. But it is the rumours thread...
Will any be left for an end of window raid, or will Jones sanction a shrewd loan signing or two. I hear that Chapple is in dialogue with Premier League clubs, but as we know young players’ loans are nearly always approved late in window’s.

Gives a warm glow inside...😉
I hear we are going for a relation of Arsenal's Declan and we have scouted a young German striker 🤔
Muller Rice
Blackpool fans would be gutted if they didn't get him!
