I didn't know that and I've never seen him do that. If he does that is a bit odd.
Not sure if this was already common knowledge but Cawley's last substack says Apter quadrupled his wages by coming here.

He wasn't on a youth contract. Signed a new 3.5 year deal in January 2024 after doing well on loan at Tranmere.
Yeh I wasn’t suggesting he was on a youth contract. But he was a youth product who was out on loan in lg2 when he signed that deal.
The equivalent of us giving say Asiimwe or Kanu a £2.5k a week contract? I know he was highly rated at Blackpool, but still seems unlikely. 8-10k with us doesnt sound unrealistic though, given the sum we’ve paid for him.

If you can't see he's a wind up merchant I genuinely don't know what to tell you.
What stuck out for me with this is both lads spoke about what NJ sold them, regarding the future, and they wanted to be a part immediately, without a shadow of doubt.
