Fabrizio reporting that he’s agreed personal terms with Inter.5

Anyone talking to someone while they are praying is an ignorant arsehole and the one in the wrong, not the one doing the praying.

Seems a very underrated player to me. Not underrated in the sense that he won African player of the year, but underrated in the sense that he's got 15, 17 & 20 goals in his last 3 seasons and the transfer fee is a reported €42 million, which is just over £35m. If he was English, Spanish or Brazilian i think he'd be going for at least £60 million.8

Good to see our connection with Inter is finally paying off33

What could CAFC expect to get out of it ?0

Depends how many years he's deemed to have been with us (he joined Everton mid season). Probably between 1 - 1.5% of the transfer fee.
Edit - It's looks like he joined the academy in 2013 and left in 2017 so probably nearer 1.5% and possibly a bit more.1 -

I think that's what he was getting at. African players carry less premium than English players. If his allegiances internationally were with England and he was a Premier League player his value would be higher, that's for sure.5 -

I for one am glad that England are finally being represented on the African stage though, having the reigning African Player Of The Year is quite some accomplishment for us!0 - Sponsored links:

By which I mean if he has had four transfers and each had a sell on clause on profit.
Team 4 pays £200 to Team 3 for the player.
Team 3 makes a profit of £100, but has bought the player from Team 2 with a 20% of profit sell on clause.
Team 3 has to pay Team 2 £20, as it has made an additional £20 profit.
Team 2 bought the player from Team 1 with a 20% sell on clause on profit.
Does Team 1 now receive £4, as part of the original sell on clause or does the agreement end with the first sale?

£750,000 if we are lucky enough to get 1.5% of 50 million. Probably less because it is Euro’s but half a million would be a nice bit of extra.0

Didnt someone put up a UEFA fee scale the other day showing what each club along the food chain would get ?0

I do wonder if the club assumed any such windfalls or if these things really are a bonus. We seem to have speculated on some income from Gomez for years that has never materialised.I’d tend to it really is a bonus.
Not clear if that will let our ownership give NJ a bigger transfer kitty or just offset the spend they seem to have made to date.0 -

If he was an England international i've no doubt he'd be worth double what he's going for.0 - Sponsored links:

The FIFA solidarity contribution is a mechanism designed to compensate clubs that have contributed to a player's training and education when that player is later transferred internationally. It applies when a professional player is transferred before the end of their contract, and a portion of the transfer fee is distributed to the clubs that played a role in the player's development between the ages of 12 and 23.Here's a breakdown:
- Purpose:The solidarity contribution aims to recognize and financially support the clubs that invested in a player's formative years, fostering a more equitable distribution of benefits from player transfers.
When it applies:It's triggered when a professional player is transferred to a club in a different national association, or when a player previously registered with a club in another association is transferred to a club within the same association.1 -
There's a breakdown of the payment formula by year on this link.

Not if the player is praying during a match while play is going on and the team mate wants the player to focus !
I would imagine there's some Scouse wit behind the comments from the tour guide especially about match days.

No disrespect to Atalanta but he should be playing at the very top level.
