Supporter of the Year was the legend that is Norman Barker, better known to all away travellers as Headphones Norm.
His award was presented to him by Nathan Jones.

The Gaffer left with a special Welsh Museum bucket hat, perfect for when he goes to see Oasis tomorrow.

Two of my Charlton heroes. As a young supporter I was so gutted when Lenny was sold to Leicester.Henry Irving said:

A great evening. What a character Lenny Glover is.2

Fantastic. He used to travel on the coach when I first started to watch Charlton regularly back in 82 . First time I’ve ever seen him without the headphones.Henry Irving said:Supporter of the Year was the legend that is Norman Barker, better known to all away travellers as Headphones Norm.

Fab evening - Lennie Glover is a character and a half - lovely bloke - I had a good chat with Lennie, Jacko, and Nathan - but massive call out for Norm - lovely bloke, and he was at the ‘74 Who concert as well
Museum was full of people this evening who love CAFC ❤️16 -
Great to see Norm win!
How are Supporter of the Year awards decided? Would be great to know how/where to vote, and even nominate!3 -

Norm is a Legend - everywhere I've ever been with Charlton he's there.
He's rocking Richard Prior / Brewsters Millions vibes in that pic8 -
From the look on JJ's face, he has just been offered Ahadme.Bedsaddick said:

Big well done to Ian Wallis @killerjerrylee for making sure it happened and organising the night.
Huge thanks to all the museum trustees and volunteers for their work getting the place ready, serving drinks etc. We'll tidy up this morning.
And a special thanks to everyone who came along, shame we couldn't have had a bigger venue. Very pleased that Nathan came at short notice and made an off the cuff speech.12 -
Or most importantly Floyd of course!!Henry Irving said:

@Bailey I see you
Well done the Museum. Norman grew up round my way - top fella, and can still see him walking round playing his music in the 70s. 0 -
I attended last night's event as Lennie's chauffeur as he lives in Herne Bay and I am in Chartham. First time I've ever been in the museum, I was gobsmacked how wonderful the museum is and is a credit to the wonderful work that trustees and volunteers have put in to make this a museum to be proud of. I've been trying for a while to convince Lennie how much he is remembered and loved down at Charlton and last night I got it over the line, Lennie gets it now and is looking forward to attending more events with me as his driver, one of the best days I've ever had at Charlton for sure. Congratulations to Norm, throughly deserved, a special mention for Nathan Jones whose attendance shows how totally committed he is to this wonderful club and of course the wonderful Johnnie Jackson.32

Always something new to see. I had an old pin badge (50s ?) stuck in a drawer that an old Charlton fan gave me 30 years ago when he moved abroad - was chuffed the Museum took it and put in one of their cabinets. In their archive forever now. It is an asset for sure, so much stuff and growing - even smells like a museumBailey said:I attended last night's event as Lennie's chauffeur as he lives in Herne Bay and I am in Chartham.
