Jones got it right stopping the rot and fixing the leaks, we are a unit defensively, now we need some of this creativity to get to the next level.
Interesting that Nombe is on the list for most chances created in 4th place. The only striker on the list for top10 chances created, and bagging himself 5 assists with 14 goals. Very decent return and seems to have gone under the radar a bit. I know we were linked with him a couple of transfer windows ago.
Joe Powell also having a very good season. Remember an old Burton couple describing him to me as Scott Fraser but a bit more effective and mobile.
The MLS not able to match Championship wage demands doesn't seem right, considering the quality of players that have gone to US in last few years.
If MLS sides can afford Messi, Benteke, Lloris, Reus etc, then they can afford Kelman. Unless there's a loophole for how they pay for the older players.
There’s a lot of very weird rules in the MLS around what players can be paid. But those names you’ve listed are all “designated players” at their clubs, meaning they can be paid as much as they want and not count against the league’s salary cap.
The rest of the squad are usually on more modest wages. Depends on whether Charlotte would be looking to use one of it’s three DP slots on Kelman or not.
Not sure if this was posted before or after the orient forum but this account posted about El Mizouni going to orient before it was announced so seems legit.
I don’t watch any MLS so not sure how it’s progressed it BWP was a goal machine in League One but not good enough for the Championship. He went in to be an MLS legend so pehaps that is Kelman’s level.

MLS rules are a labyrinth of weirdness. It's got even worse now teams can pick how they want things structured with DPs and U22 Initiative signings.
Can't see Kelman being someone Charlotte would use a DP slot on , they do have one open though.
Even Cat 1 wouldn't protect us entirely from this. Once the big guns decide they want a player they'll get them even from other Cat 1 clubs. The whole system is broken.
Who remembers the days of CLUBCALL and TEAMTALK for their transfer rumour fix? haha my mum and dads phone bill did ! must of spent a small fortune on these transfer rumours…
if we did get kelman.. then we'd have tanto leaburn Campbell godden kelman kanu/mbick
all fighting for 2 places..that seems alot to me.. could we sell someone ? Campbell would seem the most obvious, not sure on his contract situation? final year, cash in?
i could see Jones liking a Tanto/Leaburn partnership
Trying to work out what Shakes cash bonanza means? It's probably obvious lol ? Loved teletext at the time.
I remember ringing up and it being really ambiguous and wouldn’t give any specifics, names or club - it would be “Charlton are in talks with a blue from the midlands”. Also I don’t ever recall being challenged by my dad over the itemised telephone bill “who’s been ringing 0800 numbers 🤷🏻♂️”

Campbell effectively signed a three year deal in 2024 (two years, plus the option of a third, which I'd fully expect us to take up)
One of Kanu / Mbick (I'd opt for the former) will no doubt head on loan; Mbick I'd expect to see him for Cup games, and mainly U21 games this season... Then again who knows, as Nathan clearly loves him.

Disregard Kanu and Mbick from that list as realistic options. Leaburn and Godden likely to have minutes managed at least to a certain extent. That leaves Campbell and Olaofe. We need another striker.

No gossip, just wanted to show off.
