  • French TV being rather biased as usual. Seeing a lot of vauquelin. For no reason what so ever. Even the race director is passing him drinks.
  • Come on Oscar. Got as good a chance as ever to make up time for third. Just need to hang on to Pogacar.
  • Onley needs to find about another minute at the moment, c'mon lad!!
  • Brilliant lad... to keep up with Jonas and Tadej
  • Pogacar has just taken the piss!!
  • Huge ride by Oscar Onley. Just holding on to those two giants of the sport up this mountain is a feat in itself.

Managed to take a lot of time back on Lipowitz.
  • Think he's now 22 seconds back on Lipowitz.
  • Pleased for Ben O'Connor with the win.
hasnt had a tour win for a while.

It's mad to think that if Pogacar wanted to he probably could of caught up with him if he attacked.
  • Brilliant stage today with O’Connor and Onley … enjoyed that
  • What a monster ride from Onley

  • At the tour today rumour has it that Tadej Pogacar is sick , route also shortened
  • Gonna be fireworks on a route just 95km long methinks.
  • If Pogacar is sick Visma will go at it like a time trial
  • He's been sick for days
  • Not sure if this has turned out to be a good thing for general classification or not. I think not.
Pogacar if ill must be relieved it's a shorter stage, same with Lipowitz if he's not feeling so good either.
However if Onley and Vingegaard pull of a sustained attack as they know they don't have to pace themselves as much as theres less road to traverse it could become a rather interesting stage.
  • Onley and PicnicPostNL having another great day, Roglic went far too early. Assume Pogacar and Jonas will attack at some point in the last 10km, can Onley hold the wheel again?

Answered my own question, thought Jonas had been dropped by the Yellow Jersey!!
  • Gutting for Onley
  • What has been the point of Vingegaard...? - Seriously at some stage you've got to at least try to attack, but has just sat there.
  • Kinda went the way I thought it would. Couldn't see there being any change on this stage unless Onley could hold on to Pogacar and Lipowitz drops again. Very impressive that Onley made back 3 quarters of the time yesterday. Great for Arensman.

Clearly didn’t have the legs today. If he did he might have had a slim chance of doing something had he attacked at the bottom of the climb
  • Really thought that he'd started to celebrate a touch too soon, the way Jonas and Tadej caught him towards the line.

Be exciting to watch Oscar Onley in the future.

This Tour has just come too soon for him
  • Onley’s team also just aren’t set up of GC battles, they’re fighting relegation. I just hope he doesn’t move to Ineos who are a shambles

Don't know who would be a good team for him. Not sure of the contracts. You got the American teams like trek and EF education. Plus the two big Belgian teams, soudal quick step and alpecin. I have no idea but I bet Ineos will definitely be wanting him.
  • I think he’ll go to Ineos

This is the dilemma, EF, Alepcin & Soudal aren’t good GC teams and Trek already have their GC guy. Ineos seems most likely but they need to get their act together
  • If he wants to keep his hair he should sign for Alpecin.
  • Tadej really seems like he's had enough.  I reckon he'll fuck the Vuelta off.  I suppose I'm basing this on just one press conference, but mental and physical burnout might well be happening here.

Maybe there’s a problem with his dope supply chain, he is just a normal racer now
  • Only tuned in for the last 10km, but what a final Stage for the Tour!!
