    I still don’t believe Kelman has been a serious target for us. I think we’ve got way ahead of ourselves and don’t believe we’ll sign him.

    I am afraid that is the modern game. The concept of sportsmanship departed once we started paying players.

    He would either be Nicky Ajose mark 2, or our new Super Clive for this level. Realistically we cant yet compete with the proven champ strikers, meaning we have 2 options. Look abroad. Or take a punt on a player hoping to make the step up. As punts go outside the champ, Kelman is statistically the top option.

    They dont always work out - look at Longstaff at Millwall. Then again look at Jamie Vardy.

    Let's see how this plays out.

    It does sound like it's just a rumour made up by a fan that has gathered momentum.

    It's not been reported by anyone or anywhere reputable.

    No, he’s judging them on a a couple of nano second incidents within 2 games.  It’s a truly surgical review.

    Right, there was no rumour, so no-one knew a thing. If a few forum users have heard something and there is something in it, you would expect some established journalists to know something. 

    I could well be wrong but I just don't feel there is anything in this one and would be wary of getting excited.

    If his medical was today we’ll know soon enough.

    I don’t see budget being an issue, Jones didn’t come back to aim for 21st in the Championship, and I would guess the Cardiff speculation and new contract may have resulted in a bigger budget.

    Godden being here does the opposite for me - Jones is aiming high and will want plenty of depth and options, having another poacher will give us that.
