  • If Kelman gets 10 goals next season then that will have been a major success.
Completely agree.  Same for all our forwards.  If they all set themselves a min of 10 then I think that will be a good return

with all of them, we’re up against quicker, better defences, and we may not see as much of the ball in the majority of games.  Big step up for all.

I believe they’re all capable, particularly Godden given his experience, but I’m not expecting anything in the high teens for goals from any of them

Joe Bennett could be a nice pick up. Looks pretty tidy on the ball.
    Agreed

Nathan probably knows him from when he played on loan for Brighton.

Kerman is the new sniffer puppy. My gut feeling is he will have the same impact as Clive Mendonca. He’s a natural finisher and that’s what we’ve been missing since BWP
    Godden is RIGHT THERE
Godden is nowhere near Clive Mendonca’s level.

But he's a natural finisher and definitely been here between now and BWP
  • A players character and drive is clearly important to Nathan and if Bennett fits that and can provide cover where we need it I would welcome him signing, whether it’s a promotion battle or a relegation scrap players like that can make a massive difference whether it’s on the field or off it.

recall him from Oxford's play off Wembley win v Bolton .. he had a very steady game, good tackler, pacey and accurate passer ..
Elliott Moore, the Oxford captain and centre back was the star of that game i m o .. a monster defender, love to get him on our books .. Jacob Murphy was outstanding as well, he's now at Pompey

It's the watch (Rolex Datejust) that Nathan Jones was wearing in the video of his post-match interview.

Bit worried about Godden this season.
My mate in our Coventry office was gutted they released him as he his all time favourite Coventry player, but he said it was clear he was starting to struggle at that level
  • A post here on a Reading forum saying Wrexham have had a bid accepted for Knibbs

  • If we land Knibbs as well, this summer very much feels like the remake under Powell ahead of the 11/12 season, the only difference being he was trying to rebuild a team from scratch, NJ is adding to a decent core.

Some fantastic business if we pull Knibss and Kelman off, and I think you’d have to be a very negative person to not come into this season anything other than very excited and pleased with our window
