The usual pathetic risk-averse decision from the FIA. I could understand if the weather was forecast to improve.

The FIA have really shit themselves here, why they havent just let the cars continue round is ridiculous

All comes back to having a set of wet tyres that you can’t actually use, it’s so stupid

Especially as the rain had stopped at that stage. They may as well ban all racing in the rain!

Visibility looked no worse than what the F2 guys did so well to drive in earlier.

I've been to Spa several times and this weather is normal.
With the FIA as it is, I would never plan to go to Spa again.

Have a suspicion we're in for a long wait here.

Sounds like no racing for at least an hour, whilst we wait for this latest rain cell to disappear

But with Spa the forecast can change in the blink of an eye. Nothing to say that heavy rain won't suddenly appear then.

Always think that what happened to Anthoine / Dilano here, has spooked the FIA over any bad weather when it arrives in Spa

Spa though like you say, has such a unpredictable weather system - I remember watching Eurocup last year here.

They let the cars go back to Green Flag racing, and by the time they got to the end of the main straight, the heavens opened back up again. So had to immediately red flag it, because of the cars that were immediately aquaplaning.

Has it even started raining again yet, we got told more rain would hit within 10-15mins of the start, but if thats not arrived yet... They could have had 30mins of racing by now.

Sitting in the grand stand pit at Spa and the weather isnt going to get better, they'll either have to get it going soon in this dryish spell or it'll be rained off again.

About the only interesting thing we've found out is Alex and Martin Brundle are racing together at the Spa 6 Hours.

    It has been raining.
They should have insisted on full wets under the safety car to clear some of the water and to get temperatures up. I can't see how it can improve to a better situation than it was at 15:00 Spa time.

They're even taking down the Gazebo's!! - I mean we're not even going to get racing straight away, because of the 10-minute restart warning...

Given there is no 3-hour time ticking down, are they waiting until they can start the race on slicks?
