What happened to Norris for Piastri to get 8 seconds ahead?

Stopped a lap later then had a slow stop , front left issue.

A shame the Lewis charge has stalled out.

Not the best of races but Piastri has been flawless.

You know it was a dull race when the commentators spent at least 2-3 minutes trying to big up Norris catching Piastri when he wasn't even really that close and they were inside the last 3 laps.

FFS; Bearman finishes P11 for the fourth time, in the last four races.

I didn't understand why Crofty was convinced Lando could catch? Oscar had this managed.

Pretty dull after the pitstops tbf. Would have been more interesting but poss a bit dangerous to go at 3pm local time. No one close to mclaren atm though

The FIA spoiling racing again and again and again, doing their best to remove any aspect of jeopardy.
They probably need to remove the "Motorsport is dangerous" line from the tickets.

Next year's regs will spice things up again. Could do with a bit of unreliability, these cars seem bullet proof

No one seems to like the new rules from what the drivers have said from simulator runs. Sounds like a lot of electrical energy management

There is going to be no DRS, or P2P either so going to be interesting to see what overtaking is like, as feels like they're going back to old style skill as a requirement to get past.

Think it's going to be heavily engine dependant. Sounds like Mercedes have the box seat on that side of things but you'll never know until the first round next year how true that is.

Robbed of the any potential Spa chaos by the overly cautious delay of the start the a bit of a non entity race with everyone just nursing tyres and DRS not being quite powerful enough.

Brilliant drive from Piastri - he just so unflustered. When they’re both bang at it Norris is probably a smidge faster, out of the two of them, but he continues to make mistakes when it really matters He played it down at the end, but peak Hamilton, or Verstappen would’ve just be relentless my hunting Piastri down in that situation. I suspect Piastri would’ve done the same if the roles had been reversed.

Nice guy, very talented driver, but I just feel with him he’s missing that killer last percent of two to make him a champion.

Absolutely agree with the Norris point. Of course he's still capable of wins but Piastri has ice in his veins. I do find it interesting the contrast in how the race engineers manage the pair of them too on the team radio , Tom Stallard is very to the point with Oscar doesn't seem to go into information overload and then it feels like Will Joseph goes in completely the other direction with Lando where there's a lot more "coaching" going on.

Did find it amusing that despite having a good race that Leclerc still found time for his weekly disagreement with Bryan about radio messages.
