    Sounds like Mitchell playing well
Important that he is only considered in the middle of a three as back-up. RCB, no way.

Completely agree with what has been said above,  Would’ve hoped by now we would have started playing a team which would resemble what we might start against Watford,  given the nature of the opponents we are playing. Southend will tell us absolutely nothing
I think it's all been a bit of a strange set of pre season friendlies, I appreciate it's more about fitness but even so ???

HT: Ipswich Town 0-10 Charlton Athletic

No one on here can see the match, so none of you know if I'm right or not... ;)

    See...

Cawley has clearly been asked not to reveal the actual scoreline by Ipswich, to avoid any negative actions from their fans not in attendance... Smart... Makes sense!!

Must be a thrill a minute. As far as I can tell the Charlton comms team posted 3 updates that half. Minutes Applause, Kick Off and 0-0 at HT.

    Match experience at half time.

Nice to be back watching football. Been good so far. However experience diminished by smarties. Took first pack back as they were soft. To be told they had put them in the freezer. Who even does that!!  The shells go soft. In future will bring my own.
Putting smarties in the freezer makes them go soft? It defies logic (most things get harder when frozen)

Not their strongest but still a side that would comfortably hold its own in the championship. Their bench has got a lot of their First XI.

Love the energy of Tanto, almost got in a couple of times, ball just bounced the wrong way for him. Other than 1 really poor pass and 1 stupid attempt at a tackle JRC has been tidy in the middle.

Mitchell winning everything in the air, Kanu with lots of pressing. Kaminski has read the game well and got out quickly a couple of times.

Our biggest problem is the playing out from the back. We've caused ourselves issues several times and that's when Ipswich have been most of a threat.

Word on Ipswich. If they're relying on Al Hamadi as their second striker they better hope Hirst doesn't get injured.

Did not work for me when I sat in the large fridge for half an hour, I suppose the medics are right at nearly 80 😮‍💨

Costello replaced by Zach Mitchell, interesting if he's in Midfield, given the potential others have said on here, about him progressing into that sort of role.
