I don’t know anything about him first hand , but I have lived in the Reading area and know a lot of fans and they are all sad to see him go and say how brilliantly he presses and that he has a great eye for goal. Works for me .

The most important signing of the window for me.
So relieved he has finally signed.1 -
Somebody blinked.6

Mrs. Kips had promised to tickle my balls this weekend, but I've just politely informed her that her services are no longer required. His Knibbs has beat her to it!
What great news to start the weekend!10 -
Looks like we've signed Jude Bellingham from wish.com10
-
I said in January that NJ was trying to make us hard to beat and that this ethos would, hopefully, then be supplemented with players that could change games at the other end of the pitch. I'd like to think that we are now seeing that.
Welcome Harvey!

Stockport said the same about Oloafe too, really think we're looking to outwork other teams which makes sense when we can't necessarily out spend them etc.wmcf123 said:I don’t know anything about him first hand , but I have lived in the Reading area and know a lot of fans and they are all sad to see him go and say how brilliantly he presses and that he has a great eye for goal. As I said before it’s going to be fun grinding out 1-0 wins and seeing the reactions about our style of football.North Lower Neil said:

Thank f**k for that, think he could be the jewel in our crown this season and should provide plenty of assists for Kelman, as well as scoring a fair few himself.2

Guarantee we get a couple of horrible 1-0 wins away from home at promotion chasers where we just dig in and counter.Scoham said:

The life of a football fan can be interesting to watch. It's not even been a week since we signed Kelman.2 weeks ago – No chance of us signing Kelman and Knibbs1 week on – We sign Kelman, pure delight2 weeks on – Uproar and disappointment at us appearing not to sign Knibbs (to complement Kelman)2.1 weeks on – We sign Knibbs to complement Kelman and there's relief13

Jones won’t let him hide. He’ll be out the club if he does.Chippycafc said:At last. Work near reading and fans views today were, great player when things going well but hides when it isn't. Will give it all but can show boat. Will create goals and works hard for the team.
Waste of money glad he's gone and another said 1.8 milion we will take it.
Over to you Harvey prove yourself and welcome.4 -
A brilliant signing and a brilliant window. It's been a rumours thread for the ages this year.11

I agree that this appears to be an excellent window and it remains to see how it all will work out. However, and accepting that it was for the division below, I believe that the 2012 window under Chris Powell was transformative and will take some beating.Yann897 said:Absolutely buzzing, I’d go as far as saying this is the best window we’ve had.3 -
Tend to agree with you but in terms of signings, at this moment in time, we are probably quite close - probably the best signing was Kermy and he didn't arrive until relatively late, making his debut on 24th September, missing the first 10 games and did not start a match until 15th October (our 13th League game). We haven't used any of our loans as yet either.Mametz said:

The 2012 window was excellent but the cherry on the cake was Yann Kermorgant who came later.
He had gone back to France after the Leicester Panenka penalty miss and whether the window was open or shut didn't matter.
This is a higher level Championship window and the common denominator with 2012 is big Phil Chapple.6 -

I don’t have a lot of mates who support other clubs but I do know a Reading fan and have a cousin who supports Cambridge, so Knibbs is ideal for me! Here is what the Reading fan has to say about him:
“He's decent. An attacking midfielder/no.10 with an eye for goal and knack for arriving late in the box. He's also really combative, puts himself about and wins the ball back a lot. A great tackler. He deserves a shot at the Championship and should be a good signing for you.”

Saw a tweet earlier that said he has the most tackles in L1 over the last two years.
I saw a Reading fan saying he was amazing at pressing and can run all day
hw sounds exactly what Nathan wants in a player
Bravo!31 -
I would like to see Friedman, Brener and Co knighted immediately.29
-
I mean he sounds like what would happen if Nathan Jones and Will Abbott did some night-hours Frankensteining, so yeah, all aboard the hype train5
-
I don't know much about him but he's got everyone here excited so let's see what he can do.1
-
Thanks to the board for pushing this through.
Whenever I've seen Reading play he always played well and was their best player and just the chap we need to play number 10. In successive seasons he got well into double figures with goals scored.
Another piece in the jigsaw slots into place.

Welcome Harvey. Must admit I was bit peeved when this one 'stalled'.
Bench place only against Watford im guessing. Don't want to risk injury having had no pre-season.5 -
I'm a little overwhelmed. I'm just a bit frustrated that the the club haven't been able to issue any statements along the lines of, "We tried everything possible, but just couldn't quite get it over the line!"
This season it should read, "We apologise to all the doom mongers, but we've signed everyone we wanted to sign!"11 -
Or given a promote at the very least, sort it out modsMintoHumbugs said:I would like to see Friedman, Brener and Co knighted immediately.5
