i think we've seen the back 3 and wing backs that's will start and maybe the 3 cms today. tanto has played alot in pre season so I still think he might start against Watford.. strange he didnt get any minutes today.. but maybe rested..
I liked the look of apter and Carey.. kelmans link play and running wete good. Gas did well, I wonder if he may force himself into the reckoning. or if that will ignite a deal4 -
Orient bottom of league one tonight18

I didn’t say it was true. It is a rumour on a Social Media platform.Bedsaddick said:

Squad number says a lotScoham said:
So obviously doesn’t need a years loan sloshing around in L1 or L2.ForeverAddickted said:Fullah is taking the piss with that turn and effort
Scouts must look at him and think he’s not big physically, but he doesn’t need to be, so comfortable on the ball and a great football brain - not always obvious though because he’ll be patient, keep possession and wait for the right time, rather than constantly looking for the Hollywood pass or shot like say a young Shelvey.2 -
Good for Ahadme. To be fair, he did look a different sort of player in the cup games against lower level opposition last season. He's not a useless footballer he was just out of his depth in our side, especially when he was being expected to contribute more than just getting on the end of chances. I think he'll do well to revive his career in L1 with Bolton but there's a life for him in L2 if that doesn't work out3

It is a vile situation of course, but...blackpool72 said:

I thought Ahadme was excellent today.daveroan said:Ahadme constantly linked up play and the ball prior to distribution- not sure we have other strikers of that type? He also scored 2!Based on today’s performance he should be part of the main squad.I also think his game offers more than Miles Leaburn.Miles is incredibly injury prone.
He struggles to string a run of games together before he is injured.
Which is frustrating for everyone.
So for me Ahadme should be in the squad, over Miles.15 -
First time to really watch Carey and I thought he was excellent, was a huge threat in the second half and really cut through the middle. Bell impressed yet again, I think we’ve found ourselves a real gem there. Apter looks good too, and Fullah.. there’s so much potential there!5

Listen to the interview again . He didn’t say Godden and Burke are a week away .RonnieMoore said:Good news after the game Berry back training with the squad .. and Godden and Burke are a week away1 -
Thought we were shakey defensively, Southend got balls into the box a lot in the first half.
We stepped up 2nd half, much faster and on the front foot but still vulnerable at the back.
Campbell was good and worked hard, Apter and Carey linked up well, Docherty was solid, the big new striker, didn't catch his name, was a handful and scored twice. Worth a contract.
The kids were good. The u21s will be worth watching again and some will get games and sub appearances.
Hope L Jones is fit, slight concern that we have so many potential 1st teamers not fully fit but that's why you have a squad.

Top scorer no chance, but I wonder what odds for Ahadme outscoring Miles this season.Billericaydickie said:

He can't be match fit yetDamoNorthStand said:Sounds like Leaburn just managing minutes.1 -
As much as Ahadme is the butt of a good deal of jokes on here, I don't think that, fit or not, he would have fitted into the side after December, we just didn't play the way that suited him. Will we play that way this season ? We now have players who can deliver crosses, certainly that's in Apter's locker and perhaps in Carey's too. It still seems a stretch for Gassan to get past the players in front of him and a loan seems likely, as his wage would unlikely to be matched by a buying club, but if he's still here and gets on the bench, you never know, football has a habit of throwing up surprises.3

I know that Gas takes plenty of stick on here, but if he can provide any productive contribution towards survival this season then good luck to him7
-
Let’s not get carried away, Gas has played well and scored against a team that has been languishing in the National League for the past four seasons.I am pleased for him but I doubt he’ll cut it in the Championship8
-
Still think ultimately Gas won't be here by the end of the window but a couple of goals is good for his confidence10
-
Hopefully he was in the shop window today and someone will take him off our handsMarcusH26 said:Still think ultimately Gas won't be here by the end of the window but a couple of goals is good for his confidence2 -
But not before Leaburn and Godden are match fit I think.eaststandmike said:

How all the players congratulate him shows just how much he’s a part of the squad, they all feel his frustrations. I hope today will get him a good loan spell.. and who knows, maybe he’ll develop into a decent striker in the end4
-
Now not a great fan of Gas, and fully expect him gone, either permanent or loan by the end of the window, but you still have to be in the right place at the right time to score, and National league or not that's a fact, so well done Gas, and good luck wherever you end up...👍4
