How many players are currently injured or either not yet match fit…..must admit, it’s been hard for me to keep up with the current situation?

    Its not been discussed on here so far, perhaps someone could make enquiries, because we don't tolerate idle speculation and gossip on this forum.

    Fairly easy to work out that Godden, Berry, Burke and Mannion are injured as they haven't played (bar Burke's one appearance v Dartford) in preseason.

    JRC and Leaburn didn't make the bench yesterday so possibly have knocks too.  

    L Jones went off after over stretching v Southend but N Jones suggested it wasn't an issue.

    Knibbs hasn't play much pre-season for Reading which might mean an injury or just that Reading wouldn't risk an injury to a possible transfer.

    Chuks don't play for us anymore, but is probably injured

    Not for any new club he signs for. Will start every game & play 90 mins.

    I thought I heard NJ say that Leaburn has had some minutes and not selected…nothing about an injury.

    Lloyd Jones has had a few injury issues lately. REALLY hope he can keep fit, REALLY fit and not get selected if he's not close to 100% ready

    Re Mannion, Rich Cawley’s latest (excellent) article on Substack says the reason Mannion has missed all of the games in pre-season is due to a calf issue.

    His return to the side was when our form changed and we secured promotion.

    Yes TC was influential (until the last few games only) but Jones was the main factor. I don't know yet if we have adequate cover. Too soon to say.

     But I agree don't risk him.
