Was working at a Paul Weller gig, middle of the summer,we was standing in front of the stage refilling peoples water bottles, some arse decided to lob a full water bottle in the direction of the stage,i looked up and saw it spinning through the air,it hit me on the bridge of my nose, base of the bottle first, heard a big crack and felt like someone was driving a red hot poker up my hooter. Claret and stars is all i saw.0

You possibly will still get twangs for a while, I went to A&E from work and they later discharged me and I got them worse in the evening which must have been another stone, but I then knew what they were. That was a terrible night. You should have been given a diet plan and my advice would be to follow it, which I did for a while but have to admit, I don't now although I do try to keep myself well hydrated.
Never again! The stone never passed naturally.
Almost 6 weeks later I had it removed via ureteroscopy surgery. General anaesthetics, then a procedure that involves inserting a small scope (ureteroscope) through my ‘chap’ up into the urethra and bladder, into the ureter where the 4mm stone was stuck. It shoots it with a laser and the stone fragments are removed with a tiny net-like basket. Only pain afterwards was while urinating for the first 6-7 times. Burning sensation, but bearable as I was on heaps of morphine. And fortunately no stent needed, so was a super quick recovery. And they confirmed the reason for the stone was due to dehydration. So relieved it’s now history.

Take yer pick… Meningitis and the constant pain I developed at the top of my cranium for 3-4 days was probably the most extreme - the pain was slightly reduced through taking morphine but despite that leaving me off my t*ts I still remember how extreme the pain was. The consultant was expecting to me to be left brain damaged (well that’s what he told my wife) but thank God I pulled through it and made a full recovery after around 4 months’ rehabilitation.During that illness I needed lumber puncture to determine whether the meningitis was viral or bacterial. The consultant asked my permission for a trainee Dr to perform the procedure. Let’s just say that their performance left a lot to be desired and after THREE failed attempts which saw them hit my spine rather than the chord - the effects of which felt like a knife tearing down the back of my hamstring down through my calf (despite my head being in the state it was I yelled in pain each time) - the consultant thankfully took over and got it right first time. The final is a cystoscopy which used to be performed with a much thicker tube than is now the case and while they perform the procedure under anaesthetic or sedation nowadays I had mine without either. Will leave you to look it up, nothing serious was found, but I will not be doing that ever again. Just thinking about it makes me wince. A form of torture surely?0

Regarding the penis insertion issues, do they do an inverted umbrella type removal to add a few inches to the chap?

Woke up with a twinge in my toe this morning, now got full blown gout setting in ffs.
Dont get it anywhere near as much as I used to, but its utterly depressing when I do0 -
Bloke I used to work with snapped his banjo string - described it as 'more painful than somebody dropping a piano on your nuts'
For me, other than doing my ACL, I'd say either toothache or quinsy. Those are the only other two times in life I genuinely wished I was dead.0 -
Perianal Abscess . A big puss filled abscess up inside your passage, usually caused by an in growing hair…. A real “Just shoot me “ pain.

My second cancer 2011. In the lining of my neck. 6 weeks of radiotherapy every day (except weekends) for 6 weeks. Oncologist said to me "you won't have an ulcer in your mouth...your mouth will be one big ulcer!". First 3 weeks weren't too bad them suddenly couldn't eat or swallow - tube inserted my gut and pump to feed me. My neck skin dropped away like a chameleon shedding its skin..the pain was unbearable and I got thru oral morphine like water...I've never known pain like it. But recovered (eventually)...then cancer again in 2019...but that's another story - 7 weeks in hospital and a pump pushing fentanyl into me made me nice and dreamy...Anyway I'm still here...and going tomorrow!8
