Is there any other response in the players repertoire, that doesn't cover all of.....'What Jack said', when signing for a new club.
I get it, that its what the fans love to hear, but for once it would be more honest, to hear that his agent had been hawking him around for weeks / months, with little to no interest, or be really honest and say, "I went to the club that offered the highest wages!"

Most footballers arent blessed with brains & they will say what they are told to say.
Grealish is hardly likely to say....." Not really where I want to be playing....no Champions League & probably fighting relegation again this season". "I suppose it helps that we play in blue so I can at least think I'm still play for Citeh"1 -
Once a blue, always a blue.0

Remember the tweet from the Sunderland (?) player, who even copied the bit that said: "Now tweet this"6

Yeah was Victor Anichebe. Would be surprised if Grealish manages his own accountsForeverAddickted said:Remember the tweet from the Sunderland (?) player, who even copied the bit that said: "Now tweet this"1 -
I note that he didn't say that he was "over the blue moon".1

Roughly translated to “nobody else was interested”The Prince-e-Paul said:Is there any other response in the players repertoire, that doesn't cover all of.....'What Jack said', when signing for a new club.

I know what you mean via original point made.
Players always exaggerate or pretend to really and truly give a shit - as that is what is advised for them to do.
To be fair to Jack, what he says does sound at least partially genuine here.
Everton will also be playing in a new ground when the PL seasons starts. If JG wants to be playing every week, then going to Everton was a good choice.

He is a very good player indeed - annoying over eggs it on the pitch too often e.g. showboating when a killer pass would be better - personally, him moving to Shitty was a bad move
BUT one thing I love about him, he has a disabled sister, and he is so loving and caring to her - she is his number one fan, and he knows that and gives her love back in spades - yeah he is paid a lot of money, but he is grounded when it comes to his family IMO
Best thing he can do - go back to Villa, and become a Villa legend - but do they want him 🤷0
