I am convinced Doc will lose his place eventually but Jones is right not to change the team.
Yep the one area that needs upgrading.

    Wrexham getting battered ole ole
  • Personally i'd be happy with a draw today. After Bristol City's result last week this is going to be a serious test of how good we are.

With Wrexham and Sheffield Wednesday already down I think we can get away with a point today.
  • Personally would've changed Olaofe for Campbell but can't hate a decision to keep together a 'winning' side.
I wouldn't have begrudged Leaburn and Olaofe today, they looked good together on Tuesday, albeit against lower opposition, and could see us needing a bit more height and strength (They've equally got some pace) away from home.
Maybe thinking Kelman needs minutes to settle in and Campbell's pace on the counter attack could be useful?

Either way, not sure Campbell/Kelman is a partnership that's going to complement well.
    Give it time

I might have picked a different front 2, but  I'm not surprised we kept the same team.

Our attacking subs are more finishers (Copyright Alan Curbishley) than players not good enough to start anyway.

If we can get some of result today it will be handy with Portsmouth and Wrexham losing... Early days of course, but these are the teams we're realistically going to be fighting with come May

Looks like it's going to be the division to have a very tight defence in.

Wrexham done undone by a team passed them to death. The scoreline doesnt reflect WBA dominance.

Harry Cornick on the bench for Brizzle today. I have visions of NJ wandering over to their bench during the game with a contract offer in his hand.

Interesting that we're unchanged, I guess Jones sticks by the old adage that you don't tinker with a winning side
Not as reactive and knee-jerk as most posters on CL. Gotta give it time to settle in and see if what he’s worked towards works better.

Given the goal came from Sam Smith, it seems they might want to have a bit more faith in the players that got them promoted e.g. Look at Ipswich who had back to back promotions.

Instead Parky doesn't seem to have been at all loyal with many of that squad at all?

they were fairly one dimensional.  WBA constructed and played thru midfield - Wrexham just tried to hit the front line directly.

TomKam in goal is a shock.

    That’s early team news.

75 minutes before KO this season.
What’s the reasoning? What difference does that 15 minutes make?
Its to bring it inline with when journalists/media get given the teams.
