    It was interesting listening to him in his Wimbledon interview when he was asked why it didn’t work for him at Preston. He stated that it was entirely down to managers not believing in him as opposed to an injury record. Perhaps suggests that he has been fit for a while and is raring to go.

    He's hardly likely to say "Because I'm absolutely shot due to injuries" though.

    Agreed. But it was the tone at which he said it. It wasn’t a ‘combination of bad luck and lack of faith’ it was very strongly ‘lack of faith’. Just noticeable how angry he sounded about it.

    I'm slightly dubious whether that's entirely the whole story, as why has he been without a club all summer. And why didn't get to go out on loan, if it was just managers not picking him?
