We're massively off topic here but I think it's the shorts, can't both be white
This was an interesting mash up against Pompey. Now the sponsor is the same on all kits I don't see why we can't go with the black shorts, always liked that change up every now and then.

  • Largely we have been crap against Millwall but we have also been very unlucky/robbed on a couple of occasions. The Solly red card for having the ball volleyed at his face & the disallowed perfectly fine goal stand out
What year was the disallowed goal? I think I must have blocked it from my memory.
  • I believe, in its simplest form, the people running the services intercept the legitimate streams and simply restream them, I’m sure someone can give a more detailed explanation

I’ve had a variety of different subscriptions for these services and the number of channels available can vary hugely.

My main sub has absolutely everything you can imagine channel wise, college football, mls, all EFL teams etc, whereas my backup sub has maybe 5 channels max, with no EFL channels.
I cannot work out where the weak point is in the system. But as I understand it, even under the Sandgaard model, the main game stream was coming from the EFL centre for feeds which is in Osterley ( the Athletic did an article on it.) But if the sticks have the full CTV show with Terry and Brownie on 30 minutes before  KO, that’s something only available to people who have paid, with a card, and the club hold the details. And that’s true for all the other clubs too.

It’s beyond me, but maybe somebody can explain it.
There’s no way the feeds are being taken from each club individually, it wouldn’t be worth the effort, realistically how many people care if their box shows league 2 football? It must be coming from more centrally than that.

That's what I would have thought, from a money POV.

It would be ironic if it was a hack from within the EFL's system, because then they could not so readily use the "pirate potential" excuse for letting the clubs provide their own streams.

  • we used to have our own streams, when everyone else was stuck with crappy ifollow, both were ready available on sticks, so you’re right, it really wouldn’t made a difference.
  • Pretty sure the stream now is the standard one and Sandgaard only paid for extra because we were in L1 so would have been stuck with single camera. We should probably move this to another thread if we want to continue though!
  • When you are looking 10th to 12th, then it isn't such a jump to look at 6th. But it is right, a lot depends on key players staying fit.

Over 46 games I would say it's quite a jump from 12th to sixth and what a difference two games can make after most of us said the first season is all about staying up and 15th to 19th would be fine.

I said 17th if Ramsay, Jones, Knibbs, Apter etc stay fit.
I went out on a limb and said Rob Apter would be our most important attacking option for assists and he should've had at least two assists in his 1st match and came close to scoring himself in both league matches so far.

I still think it's best to see where we are  10 games in and after defeats as one thing I have learnt after 11 years on CL is supreme confidence soon becomes the polar opposite with negative pile ons with a defeat where at least one player is picked out for blame.

Just the realisation already that we can compete at this level gives great satisfaction.
Yes, my point is that we have realised we can compete so more than competing isn't out of the question. Doesn't mean it is a certainty but I don't think we should be writing it off. Personally, I'm trying to see a better defence than ours at this level. Anybody got any ideas which defence that might be?

Some pundits were going overboard about city before the game when they thrashed a team that couldn't defend for toffee. I think we are strong favourites to beat Leicester on Saturday but it is going to take a few games for some of these pundits to catch up.
    This is what Skybet say:

That's true. I will open one, after I've established how the club sees the current situation, and what they can explain about the how the set-up works.

  • Wonder what the percentage is for each Away Ground. We couldn't have taken 7k to Ashton Gate, because we weren't allocated that number.

Less of the wondering and more time spent writing the Leicester preview please FA, everyone's gone mad without that and transfer rumours to discuss
Wrote it days ago my good Sir... Even though I'm still in Cornwall, dedication is what that is called... I just didn't want to post it too early, in case of criticism ;)
Sod that mate ! get it up we need a few days to have a row about whether TC starts lol
  • I know its only an estimated number that Boro took to the Den (both tiers) but theres gonna be some very disgruntled customers here when our allocation gets allocated if thats a full house of away fans.
