North Greenwich tube to The Valley

Leave early and enjoy the river walk. Good for the soul.1

Whenever I use the tube instead of the train to go to the match then probably 9 times out of 10 I will walk to and from the ground. It’s around a 30 - 35 minute stroll that gives you the option of stopping off at a couple of pubs. It definitely doesn’t seem like it’s a two mile distance, possibly because the landscape effectively breaks into separate sections so visually you are doing a series of shorter walks rather than one big one.0

I've done that many times too but I try and avoid the build up of people at London Bridge and love the 'scenic' walk from the o2 to The Valley😂2

Inspired by this thread I walked back to N Greenwich after the match today (instead of usual bus).
35 mins from stadium to tube entrance. I'm 6'3" and walk at a fair clip.
Enjoyed it. Will the rough industrial bits eventually become swanky flats, too?
Next time I'll have a quick stop at The Pilot.4 -

The retail parks and aggregate sites will be largely untouched1 -
