  • Bit confused why the Leicester player is down.

Can see Leaburn getting replaced second half, he ain't been in this game first half
He's been really good at battling with their Centre-Backs, and has been a good target for long balls

But his decision making when he's got the ball has let him down.
  • Can see Leaburn getting replaced second half, he ain't been in this game first half
Again, his pressing has been brilliant. He’s creating chances from it and forcing GK passing errors

Got to be looking to win this, Leicester look poor
  • Bit confused why the Leicester player is down.
    How he landed I think
  • Leaburn also seems a bit slow with the ball at his feet, has he always been like that?
  • Play's restarted we have a throw on the LHS.
  • Lloyd Jones wins a header from a Leicester FK, shocker

Ref ends the half by giving yet another soft free kick to Leicester.
  • HT 0-0, I’ll take that all day

  • Now they have a free kick just inside their half, which the keeper takes. Can't do anything with it and we have a goal kick

He's also forced a couple of corners with shots that have been blocked.

I don't think he's been too bad today, certainly not worthy of being hooked at HT unless the manager has seen something he wants to exploit with a tactical sub.
  • HT 0-0, very much on top from first to last minute of the half, can see Tanto, Kelman, & Knibbs rubbing there hands looking forward to getting stuck into this mob second half & kicking towards The Covered End...
  • And that's half time.

Many things to like about the first half. Imposing ourselves onto a newly relegated side, Coventry, (so far) playing almost as well as Ramsay did last week, all our attacking players look capable of hurting them when we get into good areas. Only thing missing is that we haven’t quite managed to create those few clear sights on goal we’d be looking for. TC in particular guilty of choosing the wrong option a few times, but we know that’s an area he’s still working on. Rather like our first two matches,  we’ve given ourselves a platform and the game’s there to be won if we can just fashion the chances.
  • We’ve bumped the possession up to 40%. We averaged 42% over the first two games and Leicester averaged in the 70s, we’re imposing ourselves on them well
  • Was the ML/TC combo any better than the CK/TC version?
  • Good half. A team of violent pressers up against a team who want to be a tippy tappy play out of defence bunch. Surely they’ll start playing longer to beat the press in the second half so it’s a shame we didn’t get a goal while they were struggling. We look like a proper side though, just need the goals
  • That was a very impressive half - Leicester don’t look up to the battle to me.

Just need to keep that same intensity next half.

  • We're just relentless off the ball. Constantly pestering to win it back, we just lack a bit of composure and quality to convert it into a chance
  • Good half of Football

Felt at times as though we were playing a mid-table side from League One, the way they were having to get bodies back, and with so little action in our half.

Leicester have clearly forgotten how to win at the moment, and havent been able to replace Vardy.
  • Considering the opposition, one of the best performances ive seen from us in years.

Brownie sounding disappointed with Leicester and looking for them  to responds second half...🤦‍♂️
  • Coventry ran that game. So unlucky with the strike.
They are there for the taking.
  • Coventry and Jones have been the standouts for me. TC and Doc also look way better today.
  • So so relentless.  If we can keep up that level of work off the ball then we can win this.
  • Good first half performance, just missing a bit more composure with the final ball. Haven't really noticed Leaburn, can see changes up front second half.
  • Think we've been well on top. But again similar issues with translating all that pressure into chances and goals.
  • TC frustrating the hell out of me.
