JONES: 8 Dominant in the air but difficult game against Ayer on the floor BELL: 8 Strong throughout apart from the odd bad pass APTER: 7.5 Threat throughout and gets stuck in COVENTRY: 8 Our MO, great shot first half and should have scored when he backheeled wide CAREY: 6.5 Worked hard but a couple of dodgy moments DOCHERTY: 8 Strong game and as captain kept us pumped us to attack. EDWARDS: 6.5 Battled throughout against a very good player, should have got closer for their goal. LEABURN: 7.5 Played well and won lots of headers CAMPBELL: 7.5 Referee: 3 Gave them everything
Feel a bit hard done by by that. I thought goal should have been given as foul was two players grappling with each other. Annoys me in those instances why refs feel they have to give it one way. But both Coventry and TC keep their headers down and we win that game.
KAMINSKI: 7 - to be honest, didn't really have to do anything and the best keeper in the world wouldn't have been able to stop that goal. RAMSAY: 7 - quieter game than usual, but still solid, suspect he has a very sore nose from early on and wouldn't be surprised to hear it's done damage JONES: 8 - he wins every single damn header... you just can't play against him BELL: 8 - really starting to settle into the team, good work rate APTER: 7.5 - first half was excellent, provides great link up play COVENTRY: 8 - solid and reliable, should have a goal to his name CAREY: 7.5 - created some nice plays, love how well he's settled in.. feel like he's been in the squad for years. DOCHERTY: 9 MOTM - done everything except score today and almost did in the second half. One of the best games I've seen from him EDWARDS: 8 - love his work rate, such a fantastic player that is a little underrated at times LEABURN: 8 - shows what a striker needs to do, still learning but sometimes he just reads the game brilliantly CAMPBELL: 6 - thought he was off today, out played but also was lacking his usual enthusiasm and pace. Referee: 4 - got most decisions right but the disallowed goal was criminal

Left everything on the pitch Edwards: 6.5 if anyone is to blame for their goal it’s him… but then that’s harsh as it was a wonder strike. Dealt with Fatawu very well Leaburn: 6.5 was absolutely spent on about 55 minutes. Worked very hard. Pressed very well. Worried them. Despite all of our efforts, didn’t get a lot of service Campbell: 5 should have scored at the end. Passing was really poor again. Frustrating because there’s a player there, but the basics let him down. Needs to come out the starting team for QPR Referee: 3 shocking. Our goal was a goal.
