  I dont remember a mistake from the Referee in the build up to their goal?

  There was a free kick in the build-up that wasn't a foul.

  Having listened to debates about VAR and refereeing in the PL, it's clear that Jones's header should have stood. An infringement was whistled for what was not directly impacting the chance and goal.
