Doing some boring research at work & found this:

Anguilla (a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean) has a capital "city" (town, actually) called The Valley!
The Valley

The population would just about fill the back half of the Jimmy Seed :o)

Is that specifically in Anguilla Thommo, or generally that part of the Caribbean?

Antigua also has significant level of gun crime and burglary. I have a friend who is a lawyer in St.Johns and home security is a major problem.

I cant speak for the rest of the Caribbean, Ive only spoken to my friends in Anguilla who said their had been a sixfold increase in burglaries in the past year, building on a significant rise the year before.

Wow! Bit worrying. Does seem to affect parts of the Caribbean disproportionately.

It now turns out that Anguilla, population 16,000, capital brilliantly named The Valley has hit the Artificial Intelligence Jackpot because their dot com thingy is .ai.
Some bloke from America is amongst many rushing to register a domain name there, he paid half a million quid to register ‘you.ai’.

  • I've been there! Around 2000 I think. Everything you'd expect really, fab beach nearby.

Didnt step foot on land but sailed past. Beautiful bit of the world. The lesser touched islands are incredible. People and culture are wonderful. There is a word used on a lof of islands "liming" or "to lime" it literally means the art of doing nothing. Rest, relaxing, talking, sharing. They put massive weight on this time and I think it does wonders for their health and mental health.
