Large grid penalties coming the way of Lindblad when he ridiculously continues with a badly damaged front wing and takes out Stanek during the safety car restart.
Shocking from Campos to let Lindblad continue with that front wing damage, especially as he'd pitted.
God almighty, the driving standards in this race is just embarrassing though. Herta will have problems if he struggles next season, with just Camara the real talent stepping up.

You've only got to look at the championship leader Fornaroli. He has spent more time off the track than on it!

The standard in F2 / F3 this year is really uninspiring

You are not wrong. Every race is like a demolition derby!
Surprised that was both Browning's first win, and the fact he's now P2 in the Championship.
Still think Lindblad will end up in F1 next season, partly because of Red Bull's cut throat attitude, but no one deserves to be up there... This is by far the worst field in F2 that I can remember.
Lindblad has done nothing this year to show that he deserves a seat in F1. He has been very disappointing. Browning has gone under the radar but has consistently picked up decent points throughout the season.
I just find this one of the worst years for F2 , probably since De Vries won it. No standout talents and a lot of horrible driving standards (not just Alex Dunne)
Nine laps left, and the two leaders havent needed to stop!! - Sorry Pirelli, but you've failed dismally. Mclaren might as well have waited for the last lap, to see if an SC showed up
Nah I can't agree with McLaren there. Slow stops are part of the game.
I know what you mean, but I think their decision was correct.
As the team’s lead car, Norris could reasonably expect to have the priority when it came to pit stops, but willingly let the team pit Piastri first so he could hold off LeClerc. That’s the driver playing the team game.
If they’d had their pit stops in reverse, even with Norris still having the 5.9 and Piastri having the 1.9, Piastri almost certainly wouldn’t have come out ahead due to the pace advantage from pitting earlier. So I think, although bad pit stops are part of the game, leaving Piastri ahead wouldn’t have been right.
so is it the drivers championship or for the best team player now. Cant see Verstappen, Senna, Mansell, Piquet, Schumacher etc ever agreeing to that one.

Leave it out. In the radio discussion before Piastri pitted, Norris and Will Joseph publicly established that there would be no undercut from Piastri. Yes, his long pitstop fucked him, but to not give that place back after that would’ve been a huge kick in the teeth for Norris and would’ve been counterproductive for the team in terms of driver relations and trust. I know people get annoyed by team orders, and often I’d agree, but I really don’t see the objection to this one. It was the right thing to do.

but would any of those drivers quoted have actually done it? no chance! Piastri was very generous today, and did it for the sake of team harmony, but were he only a few points in front and not thirty odd, I'm sure he would have kicked up more. It wasn't after all his fault the mechanics cocked it up for Norris, and it might be him who is unlucky next time, and theres no guarantee Norris would be as gracious to reciprocate if the title was at stake (he probably would though).
Team Orders have existed for decades in Formula One
Can argue that Piastri giving the place back, was a case of returning the favour from Hungary last year, so they're both even now - McLaren just have the difficult situation of having two very good Drivers.
Honestly don't see the fuss being made of this. The team fucked up and they responded by giving Norris the place back, it's hardly out of order on Piastri is it?
And Verstappen's comments are absolutely laughable. If that happened to him, he'd have a fucking meltdown and be screaming and swearing into his radio until he was given the place back.
I just hope Red Bull don't throw Hadjar into the second seat woodchipper next season. He's got a very bright future but a second year at Racing Bulls would do him the world of good. Tsunoda has been incredibly underwhelming but I don't think they can keep on chopping and changing like Watford.
Arvid Lindblad isn't ready for F1 whatever Dr Marko might think after his antics this weekend in F2.

Cant be lasting this long on a Medium tyre!!

Well done Piastri all the same.
