So, basically, the club is saying there are nearly 5,000 tickets still available ?
Correct. But to me it's not really a huge surprise with restrictions on sales.
It seems surprising to me when you look at that stadium map and each block in turn to to see how many seats are still shown in red because it looks like there is only half that amount at most still available, if not less because there are blocks with around 20 seats or less

Ffs, are you on a wind up?

No, that’s just the amount of ‘wall in our end

Always a fair question TBF but not in this case. 22k tickets sold implies nearly 5k still available and, as I posted, looking at the map of red seats it doesn’t look, to me, to be any where near that number left. I obviously haven’t counted the ones in red but for 5k to still be available you’d probably need a lot more blocks other than the few nearest the away end to still have a lot more red seats showing.

The only other explanation that comes to mind is the use of the operative word ‘sold’ in the announcement of 22k tickets sold. Hopefully that doesn’t imply that somebody thought it was a good idea to pump out comp tickets for this particular match
  • Disappointing to see half of block D in the Curbs stand is unsold. Quarter unsold in E, although I note that's thinned out somewhat since yesterday. Some of the best seats in the house on the halfway line. £40 + booking fee.

Plenty available in the rear of the West Upper, decent seats but at £40, they'll struggle.

100 or so souls are keen to sit as near to the away end as possible in the Curbs. But take those sales out of the equation the blocks nearest the away end - 2 blocks in the Curbs, 1 in the West Lower, 2 in the West Upper - almost 100% availability.

(I'm not taking on @letthegoodtimesroll btw - that's just my take on seat availability)
  • Got to treat this as 'just another game' with some noisy people with a penchant for flat caps, visiting our manor.

Blocks nearest the away support would sell out first in the reverse fixture at the Den!  Two very different football cultures, three miles apart.

I think you'll find a decent portion of these 100 people are Millwall fans.

Would have thought so - no reason to buy there otherwise?!

Not really. He’s saying they would want to be near their own support, which would be the case for lost clubs. Unless I’ve got that wrong?
  • Still got 6 years before they pass the 35 year period in which they failed to beat us.

Reckon that's a fake, photoshopped picture. "Years" is spelt correctly, which proves it can't be the work of real Millwall fans.

If it was genuine it would say something like:

"29 yees yeaz yease 29y Millllll"
In fairness, there was a bit of help spelling years.

    Bingo.

The period in which we played 6 times?

If you win on Saturday you’ve still got to go 11 games unbeaten to match our current run 😉

  • Can't we just call it off and let them have the points?? Very nervous now in West block H.

This is the exact spirit that's contributed to us getting rolled over by these flat cap fancy dress bell-ends year after year.

And for the record, I feel exactly the same.
