Quarter unsold in E, although I note that's thinned out somewhat since yesterday. Some of the best seats in the house on the halfway line. £40 + booking fee.
Plenty available in the rear of the West Upper, decent seats but at £40, they'll struggle.
100 or so souls are keen to sit as near to the away end as possible in the Curbs. But take those sales out of the equation the blocks nearest the away end - 2 blocks in the Curbs, 1 in the West Lower, 2 in the West Upper - almost 100% availability.
(I'm not taking on @letthegoodtimesroll btw - that's just my take on seat availability)0 -
Let’s me honest a lot of Charlton fans have Millwall mates and Millwall fans have Charlton mates …. It’s funny none of us have Palace mates.20

I brought in Shirley (closer to the west Wickham end) back in March 22 having grown up in Brockley, and it’s probably mainly Palace, but I think a lot of Millwall fans live in Bromley, which I am quite close to.It would be interesting to see a visual of the hotspots of where the respective fan bases typically reside. I imagine we have a lot quite obviously as you go into Bexley, Bexleyheath, further out etc. I know Palace suck up support in Sutton and surrounding areas. This is just my opinion, but I think the people that now live in and around where I grew up in Brockley, Peckham, New Cross, which are more Millwall than anything, probably don’t like football and the gentrification of the area has impacted potential support.I have no doubt there are still Millwall families that go back generations in this part of the world, but it would be interesting to understand how many1

Goes without saying Bermondsey of course0

Well, around The blue and those estates surrounding that part of Bermondsey and Surrey Quays and Rotherhithe. Bermondsey Street and that side has been gentrified and we probably have less fans there.

I think the area that is mixed the most is Eltham. From what I’ve heard from friends and family who live there I’d that it’s pretty much split 50/50 Millwall Charlton.7
-
Would be interested to know how many Charlton still live in Charlton/ Woolwich.
Not many i expect. Eltham probably a lot and then Bexleyheath, Welling and then out to kent proper eg Dartford and beyond is where most of our attendant support hails from now along with stragglers like myself who've moved right out of the m25 I'd imagine.
I'd expect millwall probably have more attendant fans living in the areas near to the den than we do to Charlton and woolwich but they'll also be all across the same suburban areas and Kent proper as us too.
Much of the local "support" now in the vicinity of the valley is probably arsenal Liverpool and man United etc.
I expect that would be different had we stayed in premier league or hadn't been as shit as we have past 20 years in the same way palace probably have gained a lot of local support to their ground.2 -

I find it bizarre that any one has palace as our main local rivals , it will always be the scum .
Only reason i can think of is we have too many Bromleyites in our support and they mainly suffer with an identity crisis .8 -

But including all fans, those who go and those who don’t, there are more PL fans.0 -
So, we've sold more seats than the capacity of our opponents' ground. That puts them in a similar group as Burton Albion and Wycombe Wanderers, I guess.11

Saw a lad in a Palace top (it had Palace written on the back) heading towards the William Camden last Friday night. I'm still not sure whether to believe my eyes. Also recently saw a middle aged bloke walking up from Belvedere station in a Palace top. Whatever we may think or generalisations we may make here, Palace fans are probably the least intuitive or respectful of local rivalries. That's why I would have any as a mate. They tend to be clueless about culture and wear the wrong things in the wrong places.1

I lived in Bermondsey for three years from 2019, towards the Bermondsey Street end, and there is definitely still a core of local Millwall fans in the area. Not overwhelmingly obvious, but you see the odd shirt.
Moved back to Greenwich, East Greenwich, in 2022 and have been pleasantly surprised how many Charlton fans you see around and about, including a lot of young kids.6 -

Can honestly say I’ve never worn a flat cap in my life 😆1
