Bilko said:Let’s me honest a lot of Charlton fans have Millwall mates and Millwall fans have Charlton mates …. It’s funny none of us have Palace mates.
I have a good friend who's Palace and absolutely sound, also another mate who is alright that's Palace.
No one supported Millwall in my year group at school that I know of (Woolwich Poly) and I have only met less than a handful across multiple jobs. Met a fair few Palace fans through work.3 -
MillwallFan said:I think the area that is mixed the most is Eltham. From what I’ve heard from friends and family who live there I’d that it’s pretty much split 50/50 Millwall Charlton.
The only way to tell who is who is by counting how many teeth they have.2 -

I think the “Charlton fan” in that vid is actually a nigel.2

Only reason i can think of is we have too many Bromleyites in our support and they mainly suffer with an identity crisis .I don't think it is viewing Palace as our main rivals, it's more about despising them as a plastic club from Surrey with plastic fans who think they are South London - and also the way the Stripey C*nts treated us when we played at Shithurst. There are only two proper South East London professional football clubs and that's us and, I agree, the flat cap wearing wankers from Bermondsey, who are our only rivals.4 -
i live in Brockley now. Still feels like Millwall are the predominant local team , particularly amongst the born and bred locals, but it’s marginal and I would say fairly closely mixed - I see quite a few Palace badges around these days which irks me, but also quite a lot of Charlton, especially actually kids and the black community. I actually discovered for the first time my neighbour of 8 years is Charlton too when we were both leaving the house at 8am in Charlton scarves on a Sunday morning in May, and I was walking round the area on the Monday in my colours revelling in the glory and loads of people hooted me / greeted me on the street etc.13

I’m Bexley Borough and don’t think I’ve ever been through Brockley in my life. Guessing it’s past Lewisham way, but wouldn’t be able to pin it on a map. Surprised we have fans that way.2

Are we sure they don't care about us? 😂3 -
I travelled from Sydenham for the playoff final and there was lots of Charlton getting on at Honor oak park and Brockley which really surprised me.4

People are obviously spreading out more than ever though. Growing up in Oxted in Surrey I knew one other Charlton fan in a school of 2,000, but when catching the train there for Wembley there was a sea of Haddock – must've been 30 odd, totally bizarre. Wondered where they all were when we were outnumbered 50:1 by Nigels throughout my whole childhood! Nightmare.3 -

You can’t count half of the Millwall “fans” you think you see in my opinion. Having a Millwall tattoo or wearing a Millwall polo shirt or something doesn’t mean they go at all. They’re a fucking fashion accessory for the hard of thinking. I know proper Millwall chaps well and even they admit some of the plastic fuckers are cringeworthy. Let alone the constant stream of foreign wannabe Clone Island twats that turn up each home game 20 plus years too late.As for Millwall not liking us I never knew they existed until I hit to know a few and was warned off of letting people know I was Charlton in certain company. Some of their older lot hate us.Anyway 3 more sleeps eh?For me it’s a lose lose. As even when we win (and we are going to win) we’ve got a shit load of catching up to do and I see it as a first step.6
