Kent Senior Cup 2025-26 (under-21s)

After a few years of entering the London Senior Cup but not the Kent one, we have popped up in the draw for Kent this season. No word as yet as to whether we're entering both or we've just moved back.

We have a bye in round 1 followed by an away game at the winner of Ramsgate v Margate. Nominal date is 7 October but there's an under-21 league match that day so in reality the date will be agreed with whoever wins the round 1 game on 9 September.

Unlike London, the Kent FA doesn't announce the whole draw at the start so no news on where we'll be going if we win. Seems safe to assume it will be away as all three league sides who have entered are away in round 2. The next round would be the quarter finals.

  • Looks like we’ve entered both, and the London Senior Trophy for our u18s too.

Excellent. I do enjoy the occasional trip to an obscure ground somewhere, particularly the London ones where there's a decent chance of getting home again afterwards.
  • Unfortunately for you I don’t think we will play Swindon in either 🙂
  • Our second round game is confirmed as at Margate, who beat Ramsgate last night. Nominally the second round games are on Tuesday 7 October but the under-21s play QPR that afternoon so I assume we'll be asking Margate to agree to change the date.

Margate of course are Brownie's old club, are sponsored by The Libertines, had Pete Doherty "play" for them in pre season and are managed by Ben Greenhalgh who is the proud owner of a Champions League winners medal after he won a spot in the Inter Milan squad on the TV show Football's Next Superstar.

Perhaps Buster Bloodvessel can turn up for the fans park pre-match entertainment.
  • Margate have announced that the game is on Tuesday 7 October, 7.45pm, which was the default date. I assume this means the QPR game that afternoon has been rescheduled, unless we're planning to play an extremely young team in one or other of the games.

Tickets £5, or £3 concessions. Under 18s free (not sure if under-18s need to be accompanied).
