They’ll be filled by 12:30 tomorrow I’d imagine.
the walk ups will snap them up so quickly.2 -

Gonna be great with 20000 people trying to get over the railway footbridge…
Pain in the arse particularly following the inevitable defeat 😂Believe they shut Charlton Lane northbound in 2014, not realising you could also get to the level crossing via Coxmount. The level crossing is also a pinch point.0 -

Presumably you can walk up and purchase if you are on the CAFC database, but can’t think many would fall into that category for a game like tomorrow’s.As to reduced prices towards the Jimmy Seed. I think the club should try that in both east and west - in an effort to increase overall attendances and to encourage more of our fans to congregate towards that goal.
May not work, but needs a longer pilot period than one game v Millwall.2 -
Weegie Addick said:PragueAddick said:@Weegie Addick @castrust would you proactively ask the club about the policing arrangements for after the game? Head them off at the pass before the final pre-match meeting of all the "relevant authorities"?
Here is the full response from club SLO:“I have spoken to the relevant people at the club who want to assure you that we will not be holding back home fans like what happened in 2017. This was done for a serious matter, but we will not be doing this again. The club are working closely with the police who are working externally during the event.Despite ownership changes, rest assured that all club staff are aware of the issues this fixture has caused in the past. The staff that work for the club full-time, and on matchdays, are all well-versed in how best to approach and work this game.I hope that this helps solve any concerns. Ultimately, any out of the ordinary decisions that are made around the day, will only come from external recommendations of the police, but we are all working hard to ensure that the Millwall game is enjoyable and safe for all fans.”
(* which reminds me of a line from a Madness song, "this is a serious matter". The song? Embarrassment.)1 -
Well they're true to their word, we're not being held back in the ground this time, instead we're just being directed a stupidly long way away instead1

Football is a travesty at times. Can't sell tickets on the day and fans having to be herd around as the minority can't behave themselves.
I know this is nothing new but still.2 -

Have the club moved where Valley Express Coaches will be parked, or will they leave later as the passengers do the long walk?0

I think it's got to be layers tomorrow, so a light kagoul and cardigan over a Fred Perry or Ted Baker polo, not sure yet on that last detail.0

Both clubs in early 80s sub 6000 gates?

Do you know what I don’t care. I’ve got my ticket, my wife has her ticket. Whoever has a ticket is up to them.
I’ll be there come good or bad .3 -
Apologises if these have been answered already....
1)Why aren't Millwall kept into the Away End till all Charlton fans have left the ground and used Charlton station and taken the trains....Why are £3K away fans given special treatment over 20K home fans?
2) Is the ticket office open for Charlton season ticket holder or Valley Gold member to buy a ticket for family & friend as normal?
3) What are the policing : steward arrangements before KO to stop Millwall fans from walking around behind the North and West stand : fan zone areas before the match?
I find it really insulting that Millwall fans bad behaviour is given special treatment and priority over Charlton fans good behaviour? What message does this send out to fans....Millwall fans should be kept in for an hour and inconvenienced.

They’re holding us back, just in a different form. We won’t be able to get into either side of the stadium until they’re cleared out. Pathetic.1

A final gate number of 25k looks likely is my guess unless there is a big old school walk up tomorrow morning.which, given it is Charlton v Millwall, probably shouldn’t be ruled out.0

It also delays some of the Millwall fans from heading into central London for the Tommy Robinson march....How many clubs in Championship give Millwall fans priority over the Home fans? I would imagine millwall are routinely kept in the away end as streets are cleared?0 -
