we need Southampton to win this and comfortably IMO. I know it’s early but I already see Pompey as a club and individually as a team we can compete with. £50m spent for Southampton and they are in another league. Need to keep Pompey as close to us as possible.
It's been all Portsmouth so far but they've had to sub their keeper due to injury (colliding with his own player). Josh Murphy looks an excellent winger for them, he's got that final ball we lack.
Sheff Utd have appointed Wilder as manager again. Listening to Talksport where he was interviewed, Simon Jordan said he hopes they get their first win on Saturday by thumping Charlton
They are worryingly awful Will probably reappoint Wilder in the week
Wilder wouldn’t go back under this ownership - that man knows how to hold a grudge.
The same who got offended by someone eating a sandwich in front of him ffs
This aged well.
I am surprised, the whole reason he left was reportedly because he didn’t want to work with the new statistics based recruitment approach and liked having control.
The ownership must have done a drastic u-turn and scrapped it all after one transfer window and reverted to how it was.

It's an exact science tbh. Always has been. New manager arrives, stadium is bouncing, we do our bit for the team.

Wilder has already said he's putting their best player back in midfield instead of being on the bench under Selles. Round pegs in round holes. He'll get them firing again, no doubt starting on Saturday ffs

Get rid of that keeper Ward.
Bring Arthur back,
Brink Arthur back.

They always turn up when playing them
They've improved a little bit Southampton, but half time will do them a favour.

I'm pretty sure the goals are scrubbed from the record but what happens with the yellow and red cards?
