Only reason we are having this discussion is because we have lost control of the boarder. We already have regulations in regard to employment and certain employer choose to ignore those rules. As for health care which organisation will be checking for eligibility when someone is wheeled in to A&E. Just enforce the rules we have.
The one thing I cannot get my head around is most EU countries have ID cards carried over from the last war, but the party that wants to rejoin the EU is against ID cards, I aways wonder if a condition of rejoining would that ID cards would need to be made compulsory in the UK. I am all for ID cards, although the next step will be mirco-chipping all newborns.
Regardless of your thoughts on privacy etc what happens if you can’t afford a smartphone, can’t use one or simply don’t have one? Are we basically saying you have to have a smartphone now?
