  • New ground for me. Will have to get at least three trains to get there and all options seem to be different routes! Don't think the rain will be a problem but the wind could be a major factor. Met office showing 50mph gusts. Worried that it will affect the trains for than the match being called off.

  • A short train journey from Manchester for me!
  • The weather forcast isn't looking too bad, the heaviest rain is during the night, showers in the afternoon

The Old Vic outside the station is very good.

The White Hart advertises as an away fans boozer, apparently a ten minutes walk from the ground.

There are very few pubs in close proximity to the ground. There are some social clubs near the ground which welcome away supporters, these are St Gregory’s Catholic Club and Moor Park Sports and Social Club.

A bit further from the ground on Watling Street Road is the White Hart, which welcomes away fans.

For those travelling by train, pubs on route to Deepdale from the station include The Old Vic, The Station Hotel, Hogarths, The Bears Paw, Twelve Tellers, and Slug and Lettuce.

  • Car parking: Last time I went i parked at Sainsbury's just across the road from the ground and used i think the just park app.
Going by bus to this one!

    Not too bad at all.

  • Will be there on own..driving across from the in-laws in Nth Yorkshire...pre-booked parking at Sainsburys and may just as well get some shopping done while I'm there too... Had a tkt for the postponed tie back in Jan...but couldn't make the re-arranged date...am hoping that this one doesn't get postponed.... First away game of the season for me, looking forward to it.
  • 2 of us on the 9.37 from Euston, will be more than happy coming home with a point.

    Storm Amy:

Customers advised not to travel north of Preston after 17.00 on Friday 3 October and Saturday 4 October

With Storm Amy expected to bring high winds and heavy rainfall across the North West and into Scotland this weekend, we are advising customers not to travel north of Preston after 17.00 on Friday 3 and all-day Saturday 4 October.

There will be no train services north of Preston on Friday evening and Saturday.

Tickets for travel on Friday 3 October and Saturday 4 October will be valid throughout Friday to encourage travel earlier in the day.

If you are due to travel on these days between London and Scotland, and decide not to travel, you can claim a fee-free refund from where you bought your ticket.

  • 8:30 from Euston for me and my pals.  Its a new ground for me and hopefully a lucky one, as for the drinky poos we'll probably start off in the closest Wetherspoons and go on from there.

Train to and from Leeds for me. More West and East than North, hopefully all OK. I’ll take a draw there.

Fingers crossed the game is on, won’t be much of a game with the winds that high.

A heads up, the walk to the ground from the city centre is very long (40 is minutes).
