He loves to read their brochures
He bought his mum a toaster
    A pack of table coasters
    He’s Argos Family
  • Jones seems to be following the Curbs copybook. First get the basics right then gradually add quality and experience as it becomes available.

Apter will be a good signing, but he's not the finished product. Bree seems to be the finished product. He has the required composure and class.

I see the same dynamic happening with Hernandez and TC.

Both signings should be beneficial to Apter and TC in the long term, as they should learn from their respective competition, and it will also relieve some pressure from them.

NJ has suggested to Cawley that he's an option at LWB, would open up the chance for Apter to play the TC striker role but on the right

Couldn’t see that happening even if it’s an option, stops Bree from getting as forward which with the way he’s going doesnt look possible and as much as I am a fan of Apter can’t see him having the speed, stamina, positional awareness, hold up play to constantly move from striker to wing, or hold up play when we initially clear it long.

I think it's more of an option for the last 10-15 mins than from the start, maybe if Bree needs to come off

I’m guessing it’s going to be Bell LWB and then if we need a goal last 15-20 just go more attacking down both wingbacks. For me If we’ve only signed Hernandez now he’s here to be a squad player if we thought he could revolutionise the team he would have been here 2 months ago, changing up the way we’ve set up for the last 8-9 months just to make room for Hernandez doesn’t really make sense to me.

TC has the speed and stamina but isn’t great at the rest, even in L1.

Going to be interesting to see how we use all three of them and if Onel can win a longer deal.

That would be a good ploy imo. Apter has more of a goal scoring brain & better at taking players on.

I suspect Hernandez might get into trouble for that.
