One thing's for sure, Lance Stroll is not a good F1 driver and will never be one
Stroll needs to find another series. Says a lot when I have more idea of what on earth Alpine are at least trying to do than Aston.
  • WOW... Forget Formula 1 for a minute

The EuroFormula Open doesn't exactly have the best crop of kids, but what a Championship that has been this season, if you get a chance, watch Race Two from Monza this weekend... Amazing racing

The nicest thing I can say about Stroll is that he’s not the worst F1 driver to get a seat just because daddy said so.

    That honour goes to Mazepin.

Yet again showing that no matter what they say about these cars apparently being less draggy and the ground effect aero making overtaking easier, this era of cars just aren't going to produce fun and exciting, wheel to wheel racing.

Would love to see what Leclerc could do with a properly good car. Alas I have no faith in Ferrari.

What exactly do you expect him to do?
He has a championship to fight for and his main rival is behind him not in front of him.

Yeah was clear that Lando couldnt afford to send it, and so DNF against Leclerc who had nothing to lose

  • Bearman was very lucky not to plough into the back of Tsunoda a few laps ago...

Not sure what was going on there, but would have guaranteed him a race ban for Mexico.

Looked like Tsunoda moved across him under braking.

    He definitely did.

The race is so bad that they are concentrating on a battle for 16th. Says it all.
  • Nice Lando!!

    Lovely move.
  • One stop races should be made illegal...

Feel like Pirelli are assisting by making these races so dull with zero tyre deg.

His main rival should currently be viewed as Verstappen. Hot weather and lots of long corners should have been McLaren central. Verstappen will win every remaining race. He won this at a canter

Verstappen won this at a canter, because Ferrari took the risk with Leclerc and started him on the Softs

It helped Charles get into P2 with the traction out of T1, and helped give Max a comfortable afternoon - Had that not happened I imagine we'd have seen a closer battle with Norris chasing down Verstappen... But it was that Ferrari strategy that killed the race for the win.

Going to be a joke if Verstappen does win the title, given the book that should have been thrown at him after his antics in Spain

McLaren not updating the car since Silverstone??? and parking it in the same spec could ultimately cost them. Red Bull have brought the updates.

George Russell just summed up F1 by saying the result of the race is determined by quali and turn 1.
    He's right.

Got to back Max to win the title now. Car seems quicker than Mclaren. Piastri seems inconsistent since summer break.

Red Bull fined 50,000 euros for trying to remove the grid tape on Landos grid spot.
  • Incredible weekend for Verstappen, he couldn't have asked for much more.

    Wins the sprint
Both McLaren's crash out of the sprint.
    Wins the race
Championship leader Piastri ends up 5th.

Before Austin, he needed to make up 11 points per race on Piastri to be champion. He's made up 23 in one weekend.

The most important piece of info is that it isn’t the first time it’s happened so Mclaren are using stronger tape. Pathetic from Red Bull

The whole no marshal told me I couldn't be on the grid (which is why they were fined) and the whole thing was a misunderstanding is complete bollocks. You were cheating. And that's not one of your employees doing it off their own bat that's a higher up team decision to get him to do that so Norris gets a penalty and loses his position. It's pretty blatant and it's not even the first time.
