Will Charlton finish higher than Hull next season?

Preposterous question to have asked a few months ago. But now, Charlton are in an automatic promotion position, with a stable squad, youngsters getting more experience every week and a manager in place until the end of next season. Whereas Hull are in free-fall, their management position even less clear than at The Valley in the Summer, and languishing in the drop-zone and looking all set for financial cataclysms in the Summer.

How soon will it be before Charlton sit higher than Hull in the league again?

I really do not think we will be in the same division next season. I do, however, believe Hull will be relegated.

    questions along a similar line:

Which reindeer would father Christmas use as captain if Rudolph picked up a groin strain ?
Would you rather be a pastie or a pie ?
If we won the FA cup this year do you think European football would be a distraction to our 4th division survival next season ?
    Etc

YES - because if they are relegated they are royally screwed and will have a Charlton esque fire sale.

Admittedly the harder part will be getting us promoted at this rate!

IF we got promoted and IF (when) Hull get relegated I do not think we would finish above them. Given our performances last season we would take 21st place in the Championship next year. Hull's players would not be in demand so I think they would keep the nucleus of their team, which would probably be good enough to finish at least mid-table.
