Kayne and Amari’i

On the train home with both lads, spoke to them for a good chunk of the journey home from Doncaster. They were nice enough to have a pic with my 14 year old and even said hello to my 10 year old on FaceTime who couldn’t come today because he had a match this morning they even asked him how he got on in his match this morning and what position he played in which was nice. Spoke a lot about the club and players and they gave a great insight about the club and some of the other lads. All good stuff I might add.
Having a laugh with them and both they both said really want a song sung about them. Amari’i said he really wants everyone to sing ain’t nobody by Chaka Khan

‘ain’t nobody’ like amari
Makes me happy , makes me feel this way

I said to him if I somehow manage to get every sing it he needs to sort me out a signed shirt which he said he would be more then happy to. So come one everyone let’s get it going 😂

Get thinking for Kayne aswell I ain’t got a clue and wouldn’t mind a signed shirt from him too 😃

Proper top lads the pair of them, a credit to the club 💪

I have to say on current performances Bell is undoubtedly the better player.

Kayne just hasn't been the same since Millwall.  His passing in particular yesterday was really poor.

Other than the ball for the first TC chance.
  • Kayne has a song !!! It’s not the most appropriate given he’s playing more as
one of the 3 CBs but he has one (….. running down the wing, makes the Charlton sing, takes us to the premier league)

I thought Bell made a number of mistakes yesterday and was his worst game for us.

Don't think the "tippy tippy" bit is very Amari'i.

Agreed but he was visibly knackered, as were a lot of them. When he arrived there were questions about whether he could even be a regular starter. He deserves a nice rest this week.

Kayne had the 4th best pass accuracy out of the 14 players who featured yesterday (didn’t include Kelman as he only made 2 passes yesterday) so clearly didn’t do too badly.

Bell is definitely the more consistent player but when Ramsay Is 100% on it he’s the best player in our squad

Following international duty, I didn't expect to see Omari start all three games this week. Good on him.

A week's worth of ice baths incoming.

NJ said they have a few days off. Makes sense they can make their own way around if they wish. Might not suit them to travel all the way down to SE London

Both Rolls Royce players. Glad Luton fans view that he'd lost his pace due to two seasons injuries were wide of the mark.

    Apologies to Chaka Khan.

    Aye aye aye aye
    When tackles start to fly,
Who was the guy, That's Amari'i
    When Addicks start to shine,
Who puts their life on the line, Thats Amari'i

    Aye, aye, aye, aye
    Charlton Athletic are brilliant.

  • Yeah absolutely no hints of him having a fragile body and fitness issues, unlike, say, burke, who tends to be limping slightly near the end of games

Kayne's name fits quite well into the first bit of "Que Serah".  Thats where my idea ends..
