A sort of poll to see if there is any correlation between Charlton and apparently unrelated non-Charlton viewpoints etc.....

    a) Is Michael MacIntyre funny - Yes - Went to see him recently - a lot funnier live than he is on the TV because he has time and can get away with more.
    b) Should Chris Dickson be playing for Charlton - He's just been dropped...by Bristol Rovers. League Two is his standard, I'd rather Tuna was given a chance, who looks like a very intelligent player.
    c) Is Phil Parkinson doing a good job - Yes - panicked by switching to a 4-4-2 after the Oldham game though.
    d) Do you take some holidays (week or more away from home) in the UK - No - Used to every year though - Better deals and cheaper to go abroad than it is for even a weekend in some places in the UK these days.

    Agree when you watch Tamer's goal vs Barnet it was very intelligent of a way to regain control of the ball and it slid perfectly round the keeper.

    Exactly! Would I be going too far if I said he reminded me of Teddy Sherringham? - Obviously not as good as him - but just in his style of play.

    a) Is Michael MacIntyre funny - Yes - He is family-style observational comedian and tells a story well and with warmth. If you are looking for a shock factor or overt crudeness then you will be disappointed. Good show last night, enjoyed it.

    b) Should Chris Dickson be playing for Charlton - Sort of - He should be in our squad and should not be with a top half rival of ours. Say Rovers pip us to a play off place by a point, and 'our' strikers goals helped them achieve that. Ridiculous.

    c) Is Phil Parkinson doing a good job - A tentative yes. The job is obviously a lot harder than some on here will ever give credit for. How many dire runs of non-winning did Lennie endure during the Selhurst years. Did that make him a bad manager ? No.


    d) Do you take some holidays (week or more away from home) in the UK - Yes - Centre Parcs a few weeks ago and have a week booked in Lyme Regis for next summer. Hope those of you who can afford to go abroad all the time appreciate how lucky you are.
