Also, we are beginning a hunt for Gary Goals, seeing if we can find anyone who has stopped playing for whatever reason but would like to try again. As long as they can score, we'd give them a shot. Let me know if you know anybody who might fit the bill.

@JiMMy 85 is Patrick Casey your Gary Goals, or did Dorking manage to find someone else before now? I went to have a look at Dorking's twitter to see if they had footage of his goals, and ended up PMSL at the gift from Steve the ref.

    £90 a month.

and the rest!, my daughter was playing for Welling U15's and the were taken over by GB10, wanted to charge us £98 @ month + we had to buy kit/training kit.

I'm still pissed off with the fact that 6 months before the announcement 'Welling' convinced the parents to shell out the best part of a ton for a load of Welling training kit - when they knew full well what was coming down the road, they clearly had a lot of stock to shift.

We very quickly moved on and I let me feelings be known in the whatsapp group

This, is a fucking disgrace.  One of the great levelers of a sport like football is that it's (relatively) cheap to start and get into.  You start making it about only people with that spare cash, and the potential talent goes to waste.  Not to mention the million other advantages that just having an active youth spending time outside away from screens brings.

We needed Gary Goals for BoA F.C., Marc. needs Gary Goals for Dorking. Casey has pretty much done that, scored four already I think. He's a machine in front of goal.

I’ve not heard that so just asked MW to confirm. We lost McShane for the season today, if indeed he ever comes back from this one. Muitt might be done for the season too but he just said it’s not a break so fingers crossed it’s not bad. New signing Mcallum pulled a calf. It’s insane how many injuries DW are getting.

Edit - yeah Casey’s done. Sad emoji.
  • Ugh.

    Macca, Casey and Muitt, yuk.

They’ve done so well this season all things considered; I’m so invested because of a poxy YouTube channel… ;)

I’d love to get a game one day.

Ah, that's such bad news, JiMMy.

We watched the stream & could see that they weren't just knocks. And with another 6 pointer on Tuesday too.

We aim to get to a match before the end of the season , perhaps March 10th v Chelmsford to " cheer on  :D" Lyle...

Such a shame as he was doing so well, especially after the Maidstone loan didn't work out.

Any idea what his injury is?

Hamstring. Didn't look too bad when he hobbled off, but I don't have any details on what the deal is with it.
