Mk Dons - Next league game

MK Dons and Paul Ince will find out this Friday if they are set to be without striker Jermaine Easter for the trip to Charlton Athletic on Saturday 14th November as Wales face Scotland in a Nationwide Friendly International at the new Cardiff City Stadium.
The Dons boss could well be without three influential players for the second versus third clash at The Valley in eleven days time if Welsh boss John Toshack selects Ince's top scorer who impressed on his recall to the Welsh national side in Liechtenstein in the last World Cup Qualifier. The Scotland game is a totally meaningless fixture in the scheme of things as both countries failed to qualify for South Africa 2010.
If Easter does get the call it would mean Ince would be without his top goal getter, his captain Dean Lewington (suspended) and Stephen Gleeson who has already been selected for Eire's Under 21 double header in Georgia and Armenia. Lewington is serving the second game of his two match ban when the Dons travel to South East London.

yes I believe so.0 -
1700 our time0

I hope the game doesn't get cancelled, we could do with a full 46 game season rather than 45 ;-)0

If you were Toshack would you alienate his Club by picking him for a meangingless friendly ? Just pick players from PL and Championship clubs. There may be a time when he needs a favour from them. If you were Ince you'd get on the phone to Tosh and explian the importance of your league game and respectfully request he is left out. I think that will be the case.0

think this game could be season-defining for us
Dons are a decent side in this league, no doubt about that
a win silences the doubts which a few of us more than justifiably have had over the past 5-6 games and we can relax a bit
a draw means Yeovil becomes a must win game
a defeat and a lot of questions will be asked (and quite rightly so) and the 'we're still 2nd brigade' will ihave to find something else to delude themselves and bore the rest of us with0 -

welcome to the brigade brigade :-)
when you don't like something, adopt a defensive position and claim to be under an unjust siege by a brigade0 -
Lets hope Easter gets a call up, he will be a big loss to them, even though they do have some talented front players. I think it could be like the Huddersfield game, we'll need everyone to be at their best especially at the back0

MKDons top scorer Jermaine Easter called up to Welsh squad and so will miss The Valley clash. Only non PL/Championship player called up. With five strikers in the squad he'll probably only be sub at best. Bet Ince is really chuffed !!0

big crowd i reckon too.
how many of those that refuse to go the dons stadium will attend this one just to air the views on the poor folks at mk.
all the coke coperates have gone i only managed to blag 1 ticket first time this season0 -

I'm in the realsitic expectation of an under invested squad, we'll hopefully make the play offs brigade.0
