51’ - Big let off for Hanwell, Charlton somehow miss an open goal following an underhit backpass.

Reads like we are creating but not taking chances now and before HT.

59’ - Substitution for Charlton Athletic

    ⬅️ - Reuben Reid
    ➡️ - Ellis McMillan

Reid appears to have had a lot of chances going by Hanwell twitter

2-2 Casey again after 71 minutes
  • I don't think Casey's had possession more than 3 times, he's been that well marshalled. 2 goals and one just over the bar.

90+4’ - Pat Casey is inches away from a hat trick for Charlton as he drives a low shot wide.

    FT 3 - 2

Good second half performance from the lads and done really well to pull it back just a shame all that hard work was undone almost instantly

To do all that work to pull it back to 2-2 then instantly fall 3-2 behind must have deflated them so much

Did you get drenched? The weather over here was absolutely filthy earlier on.

    First half wasn't bad

Second half was soaking, kept thinking to myself I need to get under cover but was enjoying seeing the game from a different perspective

Home games I'm in the covered end
Away games back of the stand normally behind the goal or corner
Cup games side of the pitch but far back.

So was interesting to watch a game right next to the CAFC dugout and see it from that perspective, and in ear shot of the coaching staff, so I didn't want to move 🤣🤣

Lovely little ground on a horrible night weather wise, however plenty of cover and sat on the half way line in the padded seats, then moved to the covered bar area looking over the pitch.

I last went there 10 years ago and they clearly done some excellent improvements to the facility

Charlton never really got going first half and 2-0 was a fair reflection.

Second half a vast improvement. Much quicker and at 2-2 looked like they would go on to win.

Fair play to Hanwell. No slouches in their team. All very athletic and at that level will do well just in that department alone

Pitch held up well and looked in good condition
  • I tried to get a photo of the team sheet to share here last night, but the combination of wind, rain and not particularly bright lights meant the results weren't legible. In case anyone's interested:
